Only a registered letter no reason? stop treating?
Every time I visit my doctor, he seems more focused on typing into his computer than listening to the symptoms I describe. He simply prescribes medication and orders blood tests without providing any further diagnosis or explanation. In the end, I unexpectedly received a registered letter without any reason given, informing me that they had stopped treating my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was both shocked and confused by this decision.

Avoid at all costs
The wait times are ridiculous. I'd arrive at 11:45a.m. for a 12pm appointment and would sit in the waiting room till 1:30. Then they'd put you in the exam room and you'd wait another 30 mins for the doctor to come in. Dr. Toma doesn't listen when you are explaining what's going on with your health or symptoms, just keeps clicking away on the computer like you're not even there or speaking. He also doesn't follow thru on taking care of scripts, etc. If you need something taken care of be prepared to call multiple times because they won't call you back. His staff, however, are even worse than he is. The ladies up front are rude, & unprofessional. If you have to check up on something that wasn't taken care of they don't even try to disguise their disdain & aggravation. That's just the front staff. I won't go into detail, but the office manage is one of the nastiest and horrible people I've even had to speak too. I would just avoid his office completely if you want quality care.

Doesn't help with Temporary Disability...
This doctor will do nothing for you if you are in real pain. He mentioned pain management then never gave suggestions of who I should call. He advised me he doesn't believe in taking people out of work. After I advised him how bad I have been suffering he said he would review my file and see if he could help. Days went by playing phone tag about his decision. Finally, I called for the fourth time and staff advised, "He doesn't do Disability paperwork" Because of the wasted time and having to see another doctor, I lost my eligibility for my initial claim and must wait 6-8 weeks to even be re-considered for Disability. I won't receive any payments while on Family Medical Leave until a long time from now, if I am even approved. This doctor doesn't care about people in pain. He is not a good choice if you're in need of real care. What happened to the Hypocratic Oath?

Dr. Toma is wonderful But the Front Desk Young Blonde with Nose Ring is Extremely Obnoxious! A Terrible Liar ?? Told me to my face I was going to be Next After telling a Pharmaceutical Rep she was Next! There’s always a really long wait to see this Doctor and I hate it! I can’t spend 3 or more hours waiting to see the Doctor.

Very vague and does not take your concerns seriously. Very quick to brush off what he does not know and not even bother to address it. A very arrogant and uncaring physician who just throws random pills at you whether it lands you in the hospital or not. He could care less if the patient lives or dies. A bother added bonus! Don’t expect him to be on top of following up with you.
