Dr. Vladimir Bokarius, MD

The experience with calling the Med-Legal phone number and the nasty woman who answered the phone, should be fired! Completely rude and when I asked a question she repeated herself 3 times and overvalued me on the call. She hung up. I called back 3 times and she picked up and hung up! Rude, unprofessional and should be fired! Wouldn't want that person representing my office for sure!

I felt so humiliated after leaving his office. He was demeaning to me as a female. He spoke over me and did not let me answer questions— very impatient with listening. He berated me over some defensive comments I made … pure humiliation. Belittled my diagnosis of PTSD. Used out dated medical terms as a determination of PTSD. No I did not fight in a military war —- but I fought a fight for over two years of abusive psychological and emotional “warfare “. Reviewing here is a start—- needs official complaint to CA workers compensation and licensing!!!!

I have anxiety and depression and leaving Dr. Bokarius’ office today just made me feel worse. The only reason I came to seek help from him was because my previous psychiatrist had retired. So, my adjuster had arranged for Dr. Bokarius to be my new treating physician. Ive been receiving treatment for anxiety, depression, ptsd, and ocd previously for about 3 years now. Dr. Bokarius is the meanest doctor I’ve ever encountered. He judged me and controlled everything I needed to say to defend myself. Instead of helping me with a plan to overcome my diagnosis he scolded me and called me a liar. I feel absolutely crazy now trying to understand why he said all this to me after I’ve been treated before by professionals who acknowledged what I’ve been going through. This whole day I still have not been able to calm down from this traumatic experience. I wish I never stepped into his office.

Very cold person. I’ve been dealing with PTSD as a former peace officer for over 10 years now. After spending about an hour with him, his diagnosis was basically that I over exaggerated my condition. Typical state paid QME. I hope I never have to deal with this lying nut sack again.

Dr. Bokarius is extremely bright, caring and very knowledgeable doctor. His demeanor is always pleasant and I am extremely lucky to have found him. His office staff is also wonderful, always on top of everything and just a pleasure to work with. Do not hesitate this is top notch doctor and service.

The service was excellent; it was easy to make appointments. I'm very grateful because the treatment here helped me tremendously. I was provided with an interpreter and am very pleased with the outcome. I had a lot of problems with my insurance and the doctor helped me out with that as well as explaining what my psych issues were. I give five stars because the doctor understood my situation and went the extra mile to help me to understand my treatment.

The doctor and therapist Nicholas were good at listening, with open minds. They helped me understand what I was going through and the meaning of my symptoms.

My experience with Dr. Bokarius was great. Staff was great. He's very caring, patient, does everything he can to provide the treatment that will get you better, healthier, and try to get you back to the person that you used to be when you were healthy. The treatments I received not only helped me, but helped my wife and children and friends. They directly benefited from my wellness.

I was looking forward to my visit with Dr Bokarious. After being assaulted at work and suffering a major injury I was having a hard time mentally from the trauma. Dr Bokarious was very cold to me and said, “I don’t know why you’re here, so you were assaulted, it’s not like you were held hostage or anything”. I was stunned. For me to even seek help for mental health was huge. When he belittled my trauma I felt victimized all over again. I will not be back. Sad that this is the “help” available.

The best thing that Concentra ever did for me was refer me to this doctor. I've never had any bad experiences. Everything has been very positive. I recommend any one with issues to come here. They can come and laugh and the doctors here are not stiff and stuck up.

Dr. Bokarius is a very unique doctor who understand both the psychological and physical aspects of chronic pain and its associated psychological issues. Dr. Bokarius and his staff are an enlightened group of chronic pain practitioners. Highly recommended.

The staff were able to accommodate me during urgent times. I benefited from individual therapy, group therapy, and medications. Dr. Bokarius can be very strong in his direction. However, I opened to his direction and found it useful.

This doctor is crazy. He has a horrible temper and yells for no reason. avoid him.
