Dr. Vivien Pan, MD

Let’s start with her staff , the woman named Tiffany at the front desk is a ray full of shine . Literally hates her job and gives you horrible attitude over the phone . This place is outdated and after driving an HOUR for my appointment, they wouldn’t see me because I brought my 8 year old with me . Told me she couldn’t come in and needed to wait outside by the parking lot , not even in their waiting room !?!? What a joke ! Going somewhere else!!!

She went over all my history and what risk there are and what needs to be done. She made sure all tests that needed to be done were done and made sure that all issues were addressed and even set up accounts to watch over my Type 1 diabetes and found other issues and dealt with them right away. She did not hold back and gave me all the information so that I would be thoroughly prepared and equipped.

Very Frustrating! I have a request form from my gynecologist for an asap NiPT test and an ultrasound but she did not care. The office staff said they are not going to scheduling anything sooner than a month and a half, because “that’s how she does things”. NiPT test is usually done till 21 weeks and after that more invasive procedure is required. How inconsiderate and rude of you to say “that’s how you do things.” That was really her reply to me and my doctor. Never called back to address concerns. Careless, rude heartless.

How the other reviews are 5 stars is beyond me. I have never met such a cold hearted physician in all of my years. I was seen by her a few weeks back and she has left such a foul taste in my mouth that I have to spread the information of her horrible attitude. Beyond rude! I can tell she is only in the game for the insurance money. We all need a physician but physicians like her need to be replaced by the new generation. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

In the last year I have seen dozens of doctors because my daughter has special needs. This only made me appreciate Dr. Pan so so so much more, than I already did. She is a superhero doctor. I am so so so lucky she was my perinatologist. In the NICU, everyone who had her as a doctor consistently said that Dr. Pan saved their baby or twin babies lives. Dr. Pan is so special because she will take the extra time to not be unnecessarily invasive or aggressive but won’t skip a beat to act to save a baby and mother. Most doctors/practitioners are either too conservative in action or too aggressive, Dr. Pan is the especially rare medical professional that is so good she gets it right through just taking extra time to know exactly how to treat a patient. If you want the best of the best in OB high risk care Dr. Pan is it. I only wish that there were doctors in pediatric specialties in Orange County as good as she is. She is absolutely the gold standard in medicine.

I have seen Dr. Pan for both my pregnancies the most recent which was a high risk MoDi Twin pregnancy. She was always very patient, informative yet precise during the visits. Her calm nature helped to relieve any stress or anxiety I felt prior to each visit. She took the time to answer any questions I had and I always left feeling confident that me and my babies were under the best care.

We've had a great experience with doctor Pan so far, she is thorough and quick and provides all the necessary information. Her office has no wait time and we are always in and out in only 15 minutes

Dr. Pan is one of the best doctors I have ever seen, she was always so willing answer any questions we had and made us feel a lot more comfortable being first time parents.
