Patient with patience
I went to my doctor yesterday afternoon. Today at 1:30 I got a call setting me up for a new patient appointment. Yesterdayi was told that I need to see a Pulmonologist. I said who do you want me to go to? He didn't skip a beat and said this office and arranged for them to contact me. He's knowledgeable, what would I know. I'd rather be patient and go where some who knows from experience the end result. I have found that if an office is busy, there is a good reason. RELAX!

Trying to make a new patient appointment
I called this past Wednesday around 4:30 pm to setup a new patient appointment as I did a sleep study and was told I needed a CPAP machine. Thus, I needed a pulmonologist to write the prescription. The sleep study practice recommended Dr. D'Souza. The meeting setter told me she was busy at the moment and would call me back with the appointment. Two days later I had not received a call, so called again Friday morning. I was told she was too busy getting ready for incoming patients and she would call me back sometime next week. Terrible customer service. I will try another pulmonologist. Apparently they do not need new patients.

Great staff and good Dr. Unfortunately they are overbooked everytime I have been there. First time I waited over an hour for my turn. This time it was 45 min and I was stuck in a room with 80 sick people coughing. I left. If you have no other plans and enjoy sitting in a room with sick people this slow moving, overbooked practice is for you.

Wait over an hour for every visit...ridiculous. My appt. is for 1:15 pm...it is now 2: 03 pm. I was scheduled for that time, and come to find out he doesn't even return daily until 1:30pm. Why on earth do you schedule a time when the doctor is not even in the office. Ineptness in scheduling at the very least.

Very rude and unconcerned with my condition. Literally said, "What do you want me to do? If you're that sick, you should go to the ER."

This Dr is very unprofessional. I had an appointment at his Ormond Beach office, got there the office was locked, and answering service said he was out of town. Received no call from them.

My mother in law who is 83 years old has been trying to get an authorization form for a special oxygen tank. At first he gave her a rx that said needs for walking. No Diagnosis, no office notes to back it up, nothing. Meanwhile the supplier of the oxygen tank has sent the prior authorization paper needed for medicare and his office states that it was filled out and sent. The supplier never got it. Office very slow in paper work. been waiting 2 weeks.
