Dr Sood replaced my left & right knees 2016 & 2017
Dr Sood did an excellent knee replacement surgeries. Left knee was in November 2016 and Right knee in March 2017. My knees are doing great 7 & 8 years later. I am extremely confident in his orthopedic surgeon. I have done annual exams until Covid hit. I’m trying to locate where he is practicing now. Dr. Sood is no longer at the office I used to go to see him in Glen Burnie.

I thought Dr Sood was very nice and friendly, and answered all my questions thoroughly! He did my knee replacement and it is as good as new! I’m still playing tennis! I recovered in 1 month! And I got it done Outpatient!!!

Im reading all the comments of peoples bad experience with dr vivek sood. Count me in as well. He has no bedside manner. Im a pharmacist, and it was absolutely a shame to be treated by this man. He was extremely arrogant and really degraded me when i asked him couple questions. Dr Sood. If you dont want to treat your patients with respect, your gunna continue to get more comments like these, I am fortunate to have only been treated by this man once. Fortunately after this disaster appointment with Dr, Vivek Sood, I was recommended and went to a better more qualified, dignified "Orthopedic" surgeon who actually respects his patients and made me feel better. NOT a JOKE ORTHOPEDIC like yourself Dr. Vivek Sood. Take some classes on bedside manner, maybe you can find a fellowship in that to help yourself. Dont go to this man for anything medical related.

Dr. Sood tried two treatments for my knees before he recommended a knee replacement for both knees. I was reassured by this approach.

My appointments were in the early morning, before any backup could occur. He was 90 minutes late for an 8:00 am appt. and 60 minutes late for an 8:30 appt. No apologies. He used his PA to do most of the exam and explanations, spending less than 4 minutes with me. Turns out his reading of my MRI was incorrect and that instead of a calf strain I had a partial tear of my right Achilles. My opinion is that he is totally unprofessional, arrogant, and uninvolved with his patient. By the way, in trying to communicate this to the practice their website (which shows comments) has no place to make comments. Also, I was given the name of Debra Vacek as the practice manager. I have called and left four messages. She has not returned my call. All of the other staff at the Chester location and very helpful and professional and my new doctor, Dr. Linzer, is excellent.

Dr. Sood did NOT listen to anything I had to say about my knee. I went to see him about a Right Knee replacement and as he did to other patients, he grabbed and pulled on me leg to the point it hurt more after seeing him. Dr. Sood decided to do a partial replacement instead of a full. The pain I still had after 6months didn’t feel right, he said I was fine. Come to find out that the replacement he did was loose from the time it went in. Had to have a full replacement done by another doctor. Bad!

I took my husband to Dr Sood for an examination of his right knee for replacement. His examination was extremely abusive then he announced that he would replace the left knee and left the room without giving an explanation for the change or allowing questions. Needless to say we have gone to another orthopedic dr. who will replace the right knee and also identified a very badly pulled ham string. Dr Sood was only interested in increasing his surgical count.

I used poor only because never is not an option. He comes in, asks no questions, grabs my left leg and tries to unscrew my leg from the hip which actually causes me to scream! And, by the way I went in because my Right leg needs replaced. It caused me to barely be able to walk and when I went to another surgeon I was told that my left leg now has a torn ACL and my hamstring is badly strained. He then, with no tests tells me that I need both hips replaced. My new doctor says not!

Worst Dr. I have ever used, his PA was worse. Not an ounce of bedside manner from either of them. Did not give me any explanation of my injury. Did not go over my X-rays with me. Left my door open so I could hear him talking about patients. I could also hear His PA scolding the Xray technician.(for mixing up a wrist patient with an elbow patient??) There aren't enough characters given to explain how horrible this man and his office is.

I should have listened to folks that had bad things to say about their experience with him. Had my knee replaced 1 month ago and still very painful, Still swelled and I walk with a limp. He put i my notes that i was fine walked without a limp without even seeing me walk. He has the personality of a rock. I wouldnt go back to him on a bet and would surely not suggest him to anyone I like.

Dr. Sood is arrogant and and very disrespectful to his patients. He also leaves the exam room doors open leaving other patients to hear conversations in direct violation to HIPPA. I would NOT recommend this physician
