Had knee replacement surgery I had a lot of questions he was very patient in answering them for me .surgery went very good better than expected. 5 weeks out and doing very good getting around very good with little pain .

I saw Dr. Sharma for knee pain. He was initially very nice and thorough. After my MRI scan, I had a follow up appointment where he proceeded to minimize my pain by saying 'its not like your in that much pain.' He told me I needed to lose weight which I know I do, but to tell someone they are not in that much pain is inexcusable.

I had rotator cuff and labrum repair surgery with Dr. Sharma. I really liked his honest full assessment of my injury, his opinion an option I needed to take with having a full replacement or the elected repairs. He provided detail information, recommendation, and the surgery went well.

Dr Sharma and his staff were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He took time with me to discuss my options and answering all my questions with patience. During my treatment I visited several locations; Stoney point, Col Hgts and Riversbend with positive experiences. The staff at VCU, Health Short Pump Pavilion was excellent from the security guard, registration, surgery consult, nursing, anesthesia and surgical staff.

Very prompt with his appointments and his staff is very friendly and takes a lot of time with you. Answers questions and very good about explaining his procedures and surgeries. He did two Total Reverse Shoulder Replacements on me, my right shoulder first and eleven months later, my left. Excellent results on both. No pain-unbelievable!

My rotator cuff was badly damaged. I elected to have Dr. Sharma perform a reverse shoulder replacement. He and his staff answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. I did everything they told me to do, and in two months, I had regained the use of my arm. I am pain-free and can enjoy playing basketball, pickleball, and swimming. I can lift my arm above my head and extend my arm in front of me and out to the side. I have strength in my arm, but I don’t lift more than 25 lbs with it and I don’t put it behind my back. I am able to reach my back pants pocket. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Sharma and all the medical personnel who gave me my life back.

Dr. Sharma did a total-knee replacement on my left knee. I felt was so pleased with the recovery. My knee heeled quickly, with the appropriate size component. My knee is the same size as it was before surgery and my incision is hardly noticeable.

He operated on both of my knees and did a bilateral knee replacement. He is an amazing doctor. He took care of me above and beyond my expectations! He came to the hospital after his sons soccer game with his family in the car on the way back from DC to check on me in Richmond at Chippenham and his family waited in the car. He truly cares about his patients. He also called me the night before my surgery just to see if I was ready and if I had any questions. I truly am so grateful to Dr. Sharma!

Dr. Sharma is very professional in discussing your conditions. However, he is personable enough to put you at ease. He repaired my hip after I had a fall and took great care to make sure Zi was not in a lot of pain.

Dr. Sharma has treated both of our children numerous times for sports related injuries. He explains everything in great detail and puts the patient at ease. He recently performed knee surgery on our daughter and she is recovering well with no complications. Thank you ??

Dr. Sharma performed a total knee replacement on me on December 2, 2020. Everything went well and I continue to improve. Dr. Sharma is very pleasant and answered my questions to my satisfaction.
