Dr. Vito Modugno, DMD

I have been to Dr Modugno a few times for oral surgery. Today I had a broken molar extracted and he had it out in a few minutes. I didn`t feel anything and now its 12 am and zero pain like I had nothing done. I met him some years back when my dental insurance provider sent me to another Dr. He said the procedure would be very difficult and I would need to be put to sleep. Since I have a fear of Drs to begin with, I said I`ll think about it. Dr Modugno`s office was near my house so I just walked in and told the receptionist what happend. Right then and there Dr Modugno took me in and had the procedure done with local anesthesia in a few minutes. They don`t take my insurance but it was worth it to pay out of pocket for an anxiety free experience. He is the best!!

Wow where do I start. I hope “Dr” Modugno loses his practice license! Please save yourself from any permanent life damages. I went in to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted; where he then convinced me to remove all 4. “Might as well get them all taken care of while you’re are here” he said. Before I knew it I was not numbed properly. The nurse saw I was in a lot of pain as he didn’t care and continued to roughly extract my teeth! I’m 27 years old and suffer now from permanent facial paralysis! For the last 2 year I have no feeling on my lower left lip! Please I beg you not to put yourself through what I did. This doctor has caused me a lot of issues. Don’t put yourself in this situation I wish someone had warned me before. I suffer from his mistakes everyday. !!!!DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!!!

I had two teeth extracted yesterday at Dr. Modugno’s office in Hawthorne. From entering the office until I left, everyone was very friendly and professional. The staff is awesome! Dr. Modugno is caring and approachable. He had my teeth out in no time and made it a stress free experience. The office is not only immaculate but beautiful as well! I highly recommend him to anyone who needs these services! He is the best!

Went in for an Implant consultation. Dr. Modugno explained everything to me. He answered all my questions. The staff was great as well. Had the implant done a week later. I could not believe it. It took him less than 10 minutes start to finish. His fee for an implant was half the price of the two other money hungry oral surgeons I saw prior to seeing him. If you are looking for Implants, look no further than Dr. Modugno.

My orthodontist sent me to another oral surgeon for extraction of 4 teeth for my braces. The oral surgeon wanted to put me under general anesthesia. They wanted a RIDICULOUS price for the 4 teeth with the anesthesia. I went to Dr. Modugno who did everything for me for less than half. I did not need the anesthesia. The treatment was quick and painless. Had no pain or swelling or anything. Highly recommend this doctor.

I had a great experience with this doctor I didn’t even wait 10 minutes the procedure was don’t in 10 minutes and the service was excellent very nice staff and polite and I was in sever pain and they took me in right away

I was so nervous. The office staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Vito was excellent- I didn’t even realize the tooth was removed. The office was also very clean and they gave each person a new pen to keep, to not spread germs. I will go here from now on for any oral surgery. 5 + stars

This doctor is totally amazing. I went to him based on my friend's recommendation. I read some reviews and was very skeptical. Cannot believe everything you read. Anyhow I went for the consult. I figured I had zero to lose. Well, the office was nothing less than clean, friendly and professional. Dr. Modugno explained everything to me and answered all my questions. In fact, I had him extract my tooth on that same day. I am going back in a few weeks to have an implant placed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Worst experience! I had to get my wisdom teeth out. Procedure was a complete failure, I felt everything! He had difficulty to remove the last bottom one. After the procedure was done, I had to go back because my mouth was still swollen after 3 weeks ! When I went he noticed that the same tooth that he had issues with, it was infected, and with no anesthesia he started to clean it, I believe I have a high pain tolerance, but he made me cry of pain! MUST SAY: I REGRET GOING TO HIM !!

Dr. Vito Modugno is an exceptional surgeon and i would highly recommend him to any patient who needs treatment on a complicated, technical procedure. No need for my personal details and procedures but suffice it to say that he has the technical skills to do a great job and i would not trust just anyone.

In my opinion, don't go to this guy. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 1. First visit and only visit to get a tooth pulled. Both Modugno and his assistant come into the room with their masks on. Never showing me their face when greeting me (now I know why). 2. Doctor injects novocaine. Nurse checks back to see if the numbing has taken affect. I said no and I was worried. She says the doctor will check. 3. This guy now starts grabbing the tooth, cracking it, while I'm in deep and noticeable distress and pai

I went to Dr Vito to pull my wisdom tooth Great guy and quality work with his excellent staff I left the Dr 's office and no problem

Needs a better bed side matter, I had two teeth pulled the first one was easy but I had pain on the bottom, he did give kovcaine, but didn't wait for it to take affect
