Dr. Vishal Bhatia, MD

I have been a patient for several years and this was the first time I felt like a “number” instead of a patient. Doctor didn’t seem to have much time to discuss anything I was literally with the doctor less than 3 minutes. Very frustrating after an hour long drive and a half hour wait. I hope this is an isolated incident or I may need to start looking elsewhere for treatment

Only complaint is waiting 30 to 45 min in lobby and then 1 hr in exam room . He is very good with treatment and explaining my situation.

Dr Bahtia is a great physician and very knowledgeable about my thyroid issues. I feel very safe in his care. I have seen several comments on the wait to see him. Anytime you go to a specialist you should not expect punctuality. You should make your appt times accordingly. You would not want to have the dr short you on your visit, so don’t expect them to short someone else. Just my opinion.

I have received excellent care from Dr. Bhatia and appreciate his help getting my diabetes under control.

I feel Dr. Bhatia is a good doctor, but he has too big of a patient load. He is always running late and has a 3-4 month waiting time to get an appointment for his existing patients.I also feel they don't really listen to you if you have a problem with your meds. I told them about 3 medicines that I don't take on my chart and they were not removed from the list. Also, I am not on insulin and I my summary, it listed me as an insulin patient. Getting frustrated.

All of the staff is great and friendly. They aren't the best in calling and letting you know Lab results so have to just check the portal and lack with returning calls. As far as Dr. Bhatia, he did US and biopsy my nodule but as far as anything else, no help to me and just keeps saying my symptoms are not my thyroid or my Hashimotos and my family doctor needs to figure that out. My family provider has actually done more for me and thought that sending me to a specialist would get me more answers but nope. I drive almost 2 hours to get to him for nothing I couldn't get from my own provider at home so I will be canceling my next appointment and wont be back. He isn't rude or anything like that just comes across as a little cold and uncaring and doesn't seem to want to spend much time talking with you even though he doesn't mind making his patients wait to see him. All the research I have done on my own through reputable sites list all my symptoms as Hashi symptoms..frustrating!

He is a fantastic doctor. However be prepared to WAIT at least 45 minutes in the examination room before seeing him. He will take all the time needed to answer any questions you have, which makes the wait worth it.

He is always late or behind schedule.

Good office. Good physician. A little disappointed about too much weight put on the A1C every time I go.

From check-in to check-out. All the staff, nurses and Dr Bhatia were friendly, professional and caring. Would highly recommend this practice.

I’m always treated with respect by Dr. Bhatia, He answers all my questions And checks my Labs on a Regular Basis. The staff has always been friendly as well.

Virtual low sugar problem. Got back to me the same day with a change in medication.

He actually listened and seemed interested in what I was saying. Don’t find that very often anymore in a doctor.
