Dr. Vinod Bhandari, MD

I have nothing kind to say about Dr. Bhandari. He put me on a medication that gave me hypertension and refused to fill prescriptions without seeing me, before flaking on FIVE APPOINTMENTS IN A ROW. Then one of his staff had the audacity to ask for a follow-up. What a joke. I'd say this man should lose his license, but frankly, that's true of every psychiatrist. Sadists and incompetents, one and all.

I had two virtual appointments with Dr. Bhandari and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Both virtual appointments started over 20 minutes late, which caused a lot of frustration. During the sessions, I felt like my concerns were not fully addressed. There were no assessments or solutions provided, despite me explaining the issues I was dealing with. Instead, the focus was placed on prescribing medications that didn’t seem relevant at all to my specific situation. I tried very hard to address my concerns in a respectful manner, but he simply ignored me. This left me feeling unheard and unsupported.I expected a more personalized approach, especially in terms of understanding my needs and providing appropriate guidance. Sadly, I did not receive the level of care I was hoping for, and I won’t be continuing treatment with Dr. Bhandari.

The doctor was patient, took his time with , asked questions that no other doctor ever asked, was respectful, and explained thing clearly. I cannot say enough good things about him. My husband has been terribly depressed for two years and we’ve gone through three or four psychiatrist already and none of them ever call you back. I had some questions and I gave Doctor Bhandari A call and within ONE minute he called me back. And I believe it was on a Sat. Again, he was very concerned. He answered all my questions and took his time with me. This doctor is a one in 1 million. I honestly do not understand some of the reviews that say he was rude. There’s not a rude bone in this man’s body. He’s very knowledgeable and diagnosed my husband properly for the first time, and the best thing is, on his own he even called to check up on my husband! Who does that anymore? You can’t go wrong if you need a good knowledgeable, caring psychiatrist.

Very rude. Said I talk to fast and I was late to appointment when I was sitting in his waiting room online for over an hour. Rushed the appointment and only based diagnosis off 'results' from typing everything in boxes. He did not listen to any of my problems and instead said that I was wasting his time because it was the end of the day. Never going back EVER!!!!

Dr. Bhandari has been wonderful to me! Very kind and understanding. Always very prompt and attentive.

He takes very good care of me!

This was my first appointment with Dr. Bhandari. He seemed very personable. Asked very thorough questions and showed genuine care for his new patient. I would definitely recommend. I had no issues at all with contacting them initially and after my appointment. I even texted his secretary Mia or nurse (unsure which she was) several times before and after my appointment and she was more than friendly and super helpful. Will definitely come back and refer to other people.

During a visit that only took about 10 minutes, and to which he was 15 minutes late, Dr Bhandari did not seem to have any idea why I was seeing him for our second appointment. At the end of the meeting he promised to send a prescription to my pharmacy. He did not send the prescription, and I could not get a hold of him or his secretary despite calling for several days. So my previous prescription ran out. This was not around any holiday period. I am considering filing a complaint to the Ohio Board of Psychology.
