Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience with him. I left appt today feeling rushed out and not thoroughly examined. I have been going previously to another dr at the same clinic who was amazing so comparing to that this was subpar. I feel my concerns were brushed off and if there was some issues like there has been, basal cell carcinoma, he would’ve definitely missed it. He literally took a couple minutes to examine me. All the moles I showed him that concerned me he said, “call me if it starts bleeding”. With the other dr they were simply removed at the same appt and that’s how they found out the basal cell carcinoma! His manner was not very kind nor caring. Staff were great and polite as usual. Very disappointed as I now have to wait 6months to be seen by my previous dr.

I have a history of squamous cell carcinoma and numerous lesions removed due to biopsy being atypical. These were diagnosed by my fantastic doctor in Florida. For years, I went through 5 dermatologists in California who were totally unimpressive. Over a year ago, saw last dermatologist in downtown SF, California. He looked at a lesion on my upper left arm and disregarded it. I thought it was an age spot. Less than a year later, I had moved to Co Springs and was referred to Dr. Chung. He took one look at that lesion and asked if it had changed since it was last seen (not really). He biopsied it - came back as in situ melanoma. A resection was performed later that week. I return every quarter for a skin check. Another lesion found under right breast. Resected. Remember - while he is talking to you, he is carefully looking at your skin. He has a good eye. Many do not and that is the key.

Dr. Chung and his staff are the penultimate in professionalism. Dr. Chung does not let anything suspicious go untreated, yet he also is excellent at calming nerves when there is nothing to be worried about. The practice always has appointments available for patients who have concerning lesions, which is very important for patients who have had melanoma. I wouldn't trust my skin issues with anyone else.

Dr. Chung found a superficial MELANOMA that another dermatologist's nurse practitioner in Texas dismissed as nothing. Thanks to Jehovah for doctors like Dr. Vinh Chung.

I can not say enough great things about this practice! They far exceed anything I’ve experienced anywhere else in all areas; receptionist, billing, records, medical assistants and of course, Dr. Chung.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Vinh Chung after my experience with him. I went to his office to have a skin issue checked out. Although his front desk staff was polite, Chung and his assistants were anything but. He was extremely condescending, short, and spoke to me in a child-like manner. He also repeatedly asked me "what is your occupation?". His attitude also changed when I told him I only had medicaid. He quickly ended the visit then because he only wants lucrative private insurance patients.

Dr. Chung and his staff are the best of the best. You’re treated with dignity, respect, and warmth from the moment you walk in the door. The care is excellent! My fight with melanoma has gone on for a few years. This past year I became aware that my doctor was driving costs up by manipulating my care, which I have to believe is dangerous for my health. Dr. Chung is exactly the opposite. My health is his primary concern. And he never makes me feel rushed. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have been going to Dr. Chung for a little over a year now. I am older and have spent a lot of my years in the sun, so consequently, due to my fair skin, I have had to have cancers removed, including melanoma. When I see Dr. Chung I believe that he will thoroughly evaluate my skin and find any abnormalities. I trust his knowledge and vast experience. I recommend him to my friends. If I should ever move from Colorado Springs, I will return for Dr. Chung's services.

Dr. Chung is by far the best dermatologist I have been to for pre-skin cancer and related issues. Her performed Moh's surgery on my nose and has removed several pre-cancer spots. I have been very pleased with the results and the lack of scarring, especially on my face. Dr. Chung has a great compassionate and kind attitude.....very encouraging and supportive as he explains the procedures and the outcomes.

Dr. Chung is the medical practitioner I have the most faith, trust and respect in and for. I have had the opportunity of spending much time with physicians and thankfully most have addressed my needs in a manner that demonstrated competence but Dr. Chung went beyond what others have shown. Additionally, he fosters and promotes within his staff a culture that is wholly patient responsive, professional and friendly. I could not recommend a physician more highly.
