Most down to earth and caring doctor ever
Dr Sood has been my doctor for just over ten years now. He is a really good doctor and he truly cares about me like a close friend. I message him on MyChart regularly and he usually responds within a few hours. How many doctors would do that? I’ve had certain conditions and he didn’t just simply prescribe medication. He worked with me and helped me make better life choices. It seems that so many doctors want to just give you a pill and send you on your way. Not Dr Sood. However, if medication ends up being the best solution, he discusses my options with me and makes me feel like I’m an active participant in my health care. I am so comfortable talking to him that sometimes I forget that he’s my doctor. He feels more like a good friend. Since seeing him, I’ve improved my cholesterol, blood pressure, weight, anxiety, sleep apnea, testosterone levels and my overall mood, health and wellbeing. When I recently moved to Maryland, decided to continue driving to West Virginia to see him.

How Low
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Sood for probably 15 years. He has been a fantastic physician to him. My husband has stage 4 cancer and was admitted to WVU with pneumonia. We went to make a follow up and learned that Dr. Sood had dropped us as his patient. When we talked to the receptionist, she was very cold and flatly said it was due to us being behind on our bill. I have not heard of much else in this world that is lower than dropping a stage four cancer victim who is very ill. Our bills were less than $700. Unbelievable! I would suggest that you think about this office twice since it appears that $$$ is more important than human life.

We have always had a great experience with Dr. Soods office. My whole family goes there and everyone is very happy there. The Drs. go out of their way to talk with us so we understand every. Have never had any problems. When my sister was dying from cancer they were very very great with her. I cant not see these Drs. being hateful to anyone.

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Sood for approximately a year. We both think very highly of Dr. Sood. He takes his time and will listen to you. I am in the medical field myself and find him to be very understanding, very thorough and very respectful. I have and will continue to refer others to him.

I was a previous patient of this office. It was a good experience back then. I moved away and left for 3 years. During this time, I have since got married. My wife is deaf. I contact this office back to become a patient again since it is just a few minutes from the house. As well as to have my wife become a patient. When I called I was advised they were accepting new patients. When I told them my wife was deaf, they stated they would not accept her because will not give her interpreter.

CLEARLY I THOUGHT I HAD FOUND A DR. WHO REALLY CARED ABOUT MY HEALTH UNTIL 12/16 WHEN I NEEDED MEDICINE. DR.SOOD FAILED TO REFILL MY MEDICINE AND AFTER A MEMBER OF HIS STAFF TOLD ME TO PAY MY BILL AND I WOULD GET MY MEDICINE. I BECAME EXTREMELY HURT AND HUMILIATED SO I ARRIVED AT THE OFFICE THAT SAME DAY TO TALK TO DR. SOOD. AFTER OUR CONVERSATION , IT BECAME CLEAR THAT MONEY HAS BECOME AN ISSUE AND NOT THE HEALTH OF HIS PATIENTS. .....

Hello, My husband saw Dr. Sood for a physical after having to beg him to go the Doctor. My husband didn't have much to say about Dr Sood so am rating him as average. His staff is not responsible and said Dr. Sood would have to take care of some paperwork they filed wrong and he never did. This cost us over $200. It was a huge mistake and my husband will do his follow up lab work with a new doctor that he will see in April. They never return phone calls either.
