Saved my life
I have been a chronic pain patient of Dr. Carlesi for several years, following him from his practice in ridgefield, to Stamford, to danbury and now NY. Prior to Dr Carlesi I have had 5 pain doctors give up on me. None of them were nearly as compassionate as he is, and when I was badly injured by another doctor and in absolute agony Dr Carlesi was the only doctor (out of many that I reached out to in desperation) that was any help. I was in so much pain I was considering suicide. When emergency rooms refused to help and my gp was unable to see me for weeks, Dr. Carlesi saved my life. His practice was purchased and unfortunately they ruined his practice. The office staff was incompetent and uncaring. Rather than put up with it he left his practice and joined another. I now drive over an hour each way to see him monthly and it is well worth it. He goes out of his way to accommodate me. I always leave feeling heard and grateful to have such a compassionate doctor.

I have been a patient of dr Carlesi now for over a decade. Thanks to him and techniques used I have been able to continue working and functioning to the best of my ability. While dealing with chronic pain from herniated discs in my neck. Where you have to have foysk confidence and trust. With needles going into the damaged areas between your spine. There is no one else. I would trust.

Office staff is horrible. Dr. Carlesi is fantastic but near impossible to get a message to. I went without pain medication for almost three weeks because of poor office management and could not get a message to the MD.

I have been a patient for quite a few years. Dr. Charles I has never been anything but professional, kind and attentive. I am a 3 time cancer survivor, leaving me with sometimes debilitating nerve pain. It has taken a bit to find the most helpful way to obtain relief, but, it isn't 100% pain free. Once you realize that, life becomes a lot easier. I thank God every day for finding Dr. Carlesi.

I've been seeing Dr Carlesi for several years now. I'm thankful to have found him because I don't know where I'd be today without him. I have a very complex condition and having a doctor who understands is everything. Truly compassionate and understanding.

Been going to Dr. Carlesi since July 2001. He's consistently offered multiple treatment options for my chronic back pain, from best to least effective. The first time he EVER saw me (& my CAT scans) he knew the location and severity of my pain, including that of pain I hadn't realized was related to my back. He is a real pragmatist -- if it works, let's use it. On the board of the CT Medical Marijuana Program, he is a strong advocate for it's use to alleviate pain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I’ve had other pain management doctors, who were very capable, but had absolutely no bedside manner, understanding, or compassion. Dealing with chronic pain is difficult to adjust to and effects every aspect of your life and having a doctor who understands that helps. Dr Carlesi is not just a good doctor, he’s a good person. Hospital visits, anything, Dr Carlesi has always been there. I’ve been seeing him for almost 14 years, I’m grateful to have found him and I’d never go to anyone else!

He listens to you and doesn't prescribe medications you don't need I wish I could continue to see him but he doesn't take the Connecticare exchange insurance. I highly recommend him if you are seeking a pain management doctor

I was sent there by my neurologist. My pee test came back positive for cocaine. I don't use it, but unfortunately a family member does, and I have been exposed to the residue. He didn't care, and immediately released me from his practice, yet he went ahead and sent my urine out of state/out of insurance network and charged $1140. Just more corruption.

Dr. Carlesi is on top of his professional. Extremely knowledgeable about a variety of treatments and the ability to tailor the right treatment for the right pain. Spends time with me and answers all of my questions. After being with Dr. Carlesi for just over 10 years, I can honestly say I would not trust another PM doctor to deliver the quality of care that I need. We have built a doctor/patient relationship on trust, mutual respect and understanding. I would highly recommend Dr. Carlesi as a PM

I have never felt more degraded by medical staff in my life. I used to run a medical practice and have a sense of what is and is not appropriate treatment of patients. I have lost faith in Dr. Carlesi as a result, and have sought Medical Treatment elsewhere, where I might find a more respectful staff. I can genuinely say I have never!. Shame on them. I suggest you find better Healing elsewhere.
