Dr. Vikram Malkani, MD

I visited NCH Urgent Care yesterday because of a nasty cough ( a month). Dr. Malkani saw me, talked to me for like 2 minutes and requested an X-ray. I waited like 15 minutes and he came back, slightly opened the door and told me…. You’re fine. It’s just a bronchitis, nurse will come to see you. He didn’t even bother to go into the room to explain anything. The nurse (don’t remember her name) was much nicer and respectful than him. And by the way, he’s considered a higher kind of doctor so I ended up paying more money. I have Medicare and a supplementary insurance and I ended up paying $$$.

Did not bother to examine me. He was arrogant. Never introduced himself. And it get's worse from there. Found out he a "traveling" doctor. Run. Don't walk. He easily could have cost me my life. He needs to go! With the exception of one nurse, the staff seemed disorganized uncaring. And they were not busy. I was going to have my mastectomies done there but as a direct result of the care or I should say lack of it , I will be locating another surgeon and another hospital.
