On December27 at 1am, I needed emergency surgery at St. Joseph hospital. Dr Deka was my surgeon assigned to me. If I had waited for a second opinion, I would be dead. He saved my life. N. Colachis

Great surgical outcome for umbilical hernia and diastasis repair. Done using robotics and with mesh insertion. After week, no pain and now at three weeks, no complications and incision points are healing nicely. No hesitation recommending Dr. Deka.

I have been a nurse for 16 years and I am from NY. Recently, I needed to have my gall bladder out. I didn't have time to "shop" around for a surgeon. Instead, Dr. Deka was put in my path. I was nervous because I had never heard of him (my realm is cardiac) and was not sure what to expect. Sometimes when you have a medical background it can work against you and play mind games on you. Dr. Deka was very professional, stuck to the facts and got my surgery done the same day of my ER admission.

Dr Deka is young, smart and has all the solutions to fix the Hernia with the latest technology. I am fascinated by his hospitality, simplicity and humbleness. His Staff also left a lasting impression with their great service. Overall I had a nice End to End pleasant experience.
