Dr. Vikas Duvvuri, MD

Dr.Duvurri is the medical president of a psychiatric hospital I stayed at called Fremont Psychiatric hospital. At his hospital I experienced being told to strip naked in order to ensure I had no weapons despite having see through underwear and being searched prior to arriving at the building. Was made fun of, ignored by staff, told I can’t make calls or receive calls leaving my family in the dark. Drops off patients at a homeless shelter 2 hours away if they don’t leave fast enough during discharge, was denied hygiene, a blanket during the night time, was ignored for 5 minutes by front staff when I kindly asked for a pillow because my bed didn’t have one and was rushed out during discharge. It is truly inhumane what he allows to go on in Fremont psychiatric hospital.
