I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kushwaha. I’ve been through a lot of trauma and abuse, and I’m still learning how to navigate life—especially when it hits me all at once. From the very first session, it was clear that she genuinely cares about her patients. Dr. Kushwaha is incredibly empathetic, a truly attentive listener, and never makes you feel rushed or dismissed. She creates a safe, judgment-free space where it’s easy to open up. Her calm presence and thoughtful approach have made a significant difference in my mental health journey. I always leave our sessions feeling heard, understood, and supported. I highly recommend Dr. Kushwaha to anyone looking for a compassionate and insightful psychiatrist.

I am so glad I found Dr. Kushwaha, and it has been so convenient to do so via telehealth.Finding Dr. K on a telehealth platform was quick and easy; I looked for someone with experience relevant to my needs and then found flexible times to meet. I often need to meet later in the day on weekdays due to my schedule and Dr. K has always been flexible and accommodating.As far as Dr. K herself, she's the best psychiatrist I've had, in person or virtual; she is kind and easy to work with, and it's obvious as soon as you talk to her that she is very smart and competent. You'd be lucky to get her as your care giver.

Dr. K is an extraordinary physician who truly goes above and beyond in their care. Rather than just treating symptoms, their focus is on fostering real healing. After some disappointing experiences with other doctors, I was initially hesitant to see a new psychiatrist. However, meeting Dr. K has been a refreshing experience. They listen with genuine empathy, show deep care, and possess an impressive wealth of knowledge across all areas of health—not just mental health. Dr. K has a unique ability to connect the dots and provide a holistic, thoughtful approach to care.

Dr. K has been amazing in helping me keep my medication regulated and working with me to find the correct medication and dosage for my specific needs. She has patiently worked through different medications and dosages with me. Having care from a provider who truly cares about my well-being is very important to me and Dr. K definitely cares about my overall well-being in addition to my mental health. I am so pleased with her care that even though my insurance has changed, I am choosing to stay with her as my provider. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs mental healthcare.

Dr. Kushwaha is amazing, can't recommend her enough! I had to work my way through several psychiatrists that would not take my symptoms seriously before ending up with Dr. Kushwaha. I've been working with her for a little less than a year, and it has been going great. She is very prompt in responding, flexible with appointment timings, and more importantly she listens to all my concerns and helps tailor the treatment I'm getting to what will help me best. She is very empathetic and has been patient with adjusting my medication doses as needed throughout the year. Love her!!

I'm 77 and have seen a number of psychiatrists since I was in my 40's. Dr. K is understanding and a great listener. She is very knowledgeable and accepting of my thoughts and opinions. She is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. i look forward to my visits with her.

I initially saw Dr. K after a disappointing session with another psychiatrist and therapist. She was night and day different than the other providers that I saw. She pinpointed a lot of my issues and brought out some unidentified problems that I was having and got me on the right medications.I highly recommend Dr. Kushwaha

I met Dr. K via telehealth when I was really struggling with some anxiety and depression. She completed a really detailed psychosocial and then over a few appointments adjusted medications for me and helped me over the hump. I’ve liked working with her a lot and owe her much gratitude.

I am so happy I ended being a patient under Doctor Vijeta Kushwaha.I have been dealing with Anxiety and Depression for some time and tried different types of meds which helped at the cost of other effects which made me stop using them. After a few years I tried an online service and was directed to Doctor Vijeta Kushwaha. She showed extreme patience in hearing me out and my concerns while acknowledging my ongoing anxiety and stress issues. We tried a few different types of medications and dosages until we found something that worked. Six months later.. I am a much different person and more able to enjoy life as it should be, better sleep and a more balanced mental state.I am thankful for her help in getting this far and hope others can also see similar results!

Dr. Kushwaha was really amazing during our first appointment -- she listened very well, asked concise and useful questions, seemed incredibly knowledgable, and was relaxed and easy to talk to. She helped me work out a good next step on medication, as well as a longer-term evaluation plan. Assuming that my next appointments continue like this, I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist. (Note: this was for a telehealth appointment that was only 30 minutes, so it was for a medication evaluation, not for therapy.)
