She is thorough but quick and very knowledgeable. She is amazing at reading people by seeing them speak on video chat! If she notices that you may be going through something she can help with, she will come straight out and ask. She is incredibly supportive and understanding and always on time! If she could be rated on a scale from 1-10, I would without a doubt, rate her a solid 10! I just wish she was also a primary care provider too!

VERY basic
Telehealth
If you are looking for doctor that asks you minimal questions, refills meds, and wants you to schedule at least monthly, this is the perfect fit. She seems to be out of country often making appt times challenging

Horrible communication
After spending THREE WEEKS trying to get her staff to answer my calls I finally scheduled an appointment which had to be set up another 3-4 weeks out from the date they finally answered the phone. It was supposed to be virtual however I never received any call, text, or email to tell me where I needed to go or how to setup the virtual contact in order to be seen. Of course I tried calling back for instructions but her medical assistant never answers or response. By far the most difficult doctor I've ever tried to contact! Ive now gone nearly 2 months without medication or medical treatment due to this neglect!

Within the first 5 minutes I was told my depression and severe anxiety were because I was overweight... I wasn't severely overweight nor did my weight bother me. I left there feeling worse than when I walked in! I was later properly diagnosed by a wonderful Dr and treated properly. I do not recommend this office at all!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Appareddy?
Dr. Appareddy is in the wrong field because she lacks compassion and empathy. She told me that "People can't change" and that because I had attempted suicide 4 years prior that I was too much of a danger to go to inpatient treatment, regardless of the fact I had changed significantly in that time and hadn't been hospitalized in nearly 2 years. She's extremely cold, rude, and the way she speaks to clients with mental illnesses is absolutely shameful. She's the very first mental health "professional" I've ever encountered that actually makes people feel bad for feeling depressed, suicidal, or even just having a mental illness. Stay away from her at all costs.

For some, Dr. Appareddy may seem cold and distant, but when the chips are down she is clear, responsive, and compassionate. She accepted me after another doctor dropped me because he did not like my insurance. She and her office staff are professional, competent, and truly invested in their patients.

Dr. Appareddy is great. She listens and always has recommendations. Her explanation of what I'm going through and how to improve my mental health is always beneficial. She remembers everything we've talked about and follows up in every conversation. I would recommend to make an appointment!

She refused to refill my Prozac and my mood stabilizer just because I had to reschedule my appointment for one week later due to my work schedule. I suffer from PTSD., Bipolar depression and anxiety with panic attacks. She is cold and uncaring and doesn't care about her patients whatsoever. The fact that I can become ill from stopping my psyche meds so abruptly means nothing to her. Now I am stuck making another trip to the emergency room. Even her ratings and reviews are deplorable.

Had the misfortune of being assigned this woman after a suicide attempt hospitalized me at Parkridge Valley. Until Parkridge Valley severs all ties with this horrible woman I will seek out of county help with any future psychiatric emergency. She dumped a mess of new psych meds on me with the hands-down worst bedside manner I've ever encountered from ANY ATTENDING DOCTOR EVER!!! And when things went wrong with my follow up care her office refused to refill my meds. Abominable.

Dr appareddy took me off of my meds after having been prescribed it for 3 years. She put her hand in my face and told me that I needed to sit down and be quiet. I called another family member into the room, and she proceeded to call me a paranoid liar and insisted that I needed to go to inpatient care under her. She denied my patient right to see her educational history. She said that it was none of my concern. I take pride in my honesty. She ignored every word I said.

I am leaving 1 star because I had to click something to continue. This doctor is running a patient mill. She spends maybe 5 minutes with me each visit and throws prescriptions at me. I require a CT Cranial Scan due to a brain injury. Long story short, wasn't done. Time and time again, I have asked for things, only to be put off. I'm a 2 year patient and am looking for a new Doc. A pathetic excuse for a Doctor.

Due to a scheduling mistake on the staffs behalf I was unable to see this doctor after waiting for an appointment. I was told my appointment was to be at 2pm and verified this information as I wrote it on my calendar. I arrived at 1:15pm to fill out paperwork (after an overnight shift). After taking time to fill out paperwork, I was told that they had my appointment for 1 pm and I had missed my appointment. Very disappointing experience for someone seeking help.

This doctor is a joke! I took my son twice and both experiences were horrible. She was rude, dismissive, and totally without any caring or feeling. She does NOT listen to concerns either the patient or family expresses. DON'T go to this office!!!
