Dr. Vijay Gill, MD

I live in Mesa. Dr Gill has been a great Primary Care Provider for me as a gentleman. I have a few chronic conditions (low HDL, testosterone issues, and thyroid issues). He is patient enough to understand my questions, and offer me potential solutions. He spends more then adequate time with me at each visit. I dread the day that I have to look for a new MD because Dr Gill is no longer available. Few doctors are ready to listen and offer ideas, rather then just order every test possible because I have insurance.

One thing I really like is that you actually get to meet with Dr. Gill rather than be sent to a physician's assistant or some other deputy. It has been convenient to get same-day appointment's in for things that have been bothering me. However, I have sometimes had to wait for over an hour past the appointment time to finally get to see him. His diagnoses seem relatively even-handed, referring me to specialists when he clearly can't help, and prescribing helpful medications in other cases.

Each time I asked for an order to receive scans or images, I was told I didn’t need them. On 10/23/2019, I was told I had breast cancer because of his negligence. I also asked for and order to get a colon exam and was told I didn’t need one but every 10 years, despite the fact my sister had colon cancer and each time I do have one, they find polyps. I also stopped taking my second high blood pressure because it stayed I’ve 200, which was not Norman for me. When I stopped, my pressure has been anywhere between 116-120/ 70-80. After being ignored over and over repeatedly, I decided to leave. I had a CT Scan of my stomach on 9/7/2019 and learned I had 6 cysts on my pancreas. When I asked if he was listening when I talked, he was always on his computer and just shook his head yes.

I cant say enough about Dr Gill and Kristen . I even referred my mother. She just loves him. I'm switching my son over to Dr gill soon. Thanks to both for great care.

Dr Gill has been my doctor since December 2011 and he has always been genuinely concerned and invested in my well being. He has been very understanding, fair and direct with me

I would not recommend Dr. Gill to anyone. During my appointment he repeatedly interrupted me and made me feel like an inconvenience to him. He is not a doctor who will work with you. His assistant was pretty nice though.

Help me become a more healthy person. My diabetes was out of control. Got me to diabetic education classes and got diabetes under control and eventually got me to get gastric bypass surgery. I was 360 lbs now im 220 and in better health at 35 yrs than i was at 20. He gave me positive encouragement.

I was very pleased with this office, there is hardly any wait time, front office staff is friendly and very efficient. Dr Gill has a great bed-side manner, he takes his time and is a good listener. He addressed everything I spoke of and did complete examination. So happy I picked him as my new PCP.

Dr. Gill is an excellent physician. He has taken me from unable to move to being painfree for the first time in 2 years, thanks to his diligence in treating me for scleroderma and ulderlying RA. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to his care.

Dr Gill doesn't care at all about his patients

I'm a 67 year old male. In 1997, I had a blood clot that traveled from my left calf to my lungs. I didn't know why I felt like passing out every time I stood up. The nurse at Motorola, where I was working at the time, thought it might be a blood clot. She called the emergency squad at the fire dept. and suggested I go to the hospital. After many tests and hours spent in the emergency room, they finally solved my problem, blood clots in my lungs. Dr. Gill was assigned to be my doctor. The best.

I have been with Dr. Gill for over ten years. He is very capable, up to date on technology and will spend any amount of time necessary to hear your complaints and diagnose.
