Dr. Vijay Arora, MD

I used ro go back in 2023 a couple of times because I was trying out birth control for the first time and at first he seemed to care to his wait times were always over 3 hours. He kept wanting to see me and I would wonder why besides a pep and the results but kept pressing for me to leave the pills and get another form and didn’t like when I would say I’m doing good. His NP was always so nice and even told me herself that someone my age the pill was perfect. Never went back

His wait time is outrageous! It’s never less than 3 hours. He kept saying I had fibroids and I believed him. He would say I need an ultrasound every 3 months to monitor them even though I had no symptoms. I went down the hill to a reputable dr and found out I don’t have fibroids at all!! Also if he recommends D &C and laposcopy get a second opinion. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dr.

Almost died from pre-eclampsia because he ignored the signs and told me I was young and overreacting and didn't understand pregnancy's effects on the body. My daughter had to be delivered 8 weeks early and we were both in the hospital for several weeks. Didn't see him more than once for the cesarean while in the hospital.

Tries to coerce people to do what he wants, induces all his patients at 39 weeks with no indication, if they don’t deliver within his arbitrary timeline he’ll come up with an excuse to do a c-section.

this doctor ran all kind of test. He said i had kidney stones and i went to another one and found mo kidney stones. I never got to see him but he turned over everything to running test and didnt find the source.I never saw him again and i think he should at least addressed the problem!!! Never again will i go here.

I went through a reversal in 1989 in NY. I went to see Dr. Arora by chance of the phone book. All in all...he was amazing. I got pregnant again after 12 years and again..after that. I was having a miracle baby. Those two are 29 and 27 now. We have moved since and one is still in California, my other son, in PA with me. I already had three before. But the respect Dr. Arora has for the people is never ceased and the respect he gets from the hospital...great reputation

This practice is a scam. They kept adding up things like claiming that I have endometriosis and recommended laparoscopic surgery. After surgery, they said that I didn't have endometriosis but I have uterine prolapse. They said that I must have a hysterectomy before it gets worse. I was baffled because I don't have symptoms of prolapse at all. They kept scheduling me every two weeks for an ultrasound exam for my ovarian cysts, follow up, then tried to push me to schedule a hysterectomy because of my uterine prolapse. I went to a different physician for a 2nd opinion. She took the time to do a lengthy exam for uterine prolapse and explained everything. My uterus is in great condition and no sign of prolapse. She pointed out that uterine prolapse will be detected during pelvic exams, not surgery... If my past doctors did not say anything then I didn't have it.

Best OBGYN in the High Desert! Delivered both our kids. Dr. Arora is thorough and expected since he’s comprehensive and treats all matters as if it’s the only client/patient case that requires his expertise! His daughter has joined him in the profession and it’s truly a family affair. Thank you Dr. Arora & staff.

I've only met him once and he was fine. The office manager tho! Mary Ellen! Whew Chile! The disrespect! Her customer service skills really turn me off. She is why I won't be back.

Dr. Vijay Arora is an EXCELLENT OBGYN. I’ve been going to him for 26 years. His office IS busy, BUT HE’s worth the wait!! He has an OUTSTANDING bedside manner and is not only WELL EDUCATED but EXTREMELY informative. Dr. Arora is TOPS in his field and a doctor YOU CAN TRUST!!!! His priorities are his patients and their health.

Dr. Arora is amazing! He delivered my daughter in 2015 and was so extremely supportive. My last few months I saw him for every appointment. No PA or NP. The staff back then was very unprofessional (wearing flip flops, jeans and a scrub top). But I am currently pregnant with my second and even more pleased to come back almost 3 years to see nicer, more professional staff. A new PA as well who was a sweet heart. Also got to come back the very next day for my first ultrasound. So happy!

Although the wait times can get a bit lengthy, I have never minded waiting to see Dr. Arora or Jan. They are both so competent and absolutely lovely. Its been a rough road for my husband and I but they have been there every step of the way, always encouraging, always so kind. The office gals are so personable and know their jobs! I have never had to wait around for paperwork, scheduling or copies of labs. The communication is bar none which mitigates the need to repeat yourself each visit.

Dr. Arora PA was horrible I'm sorry but she was beyond rude, nurses are we're really nice everything looks clean but PA was horrible.

Ultrasound tech who is a tall blonde gave me the worst experience of my life! She is extremely rude, has terrible bedside manner and is always in a hurry. Pregnancy should be an exciting time, she made me feel unimportant and an inconvenience. As for the doctor, he is amazing! He always takes time to answer your questions and is genuinely concerned. As for appointments, you will always be waiting a minimum of an hour and a half regardless of your appointment time.

Doctor is great. Staff is rude, unfriendly, and not willing to help. Staff is also very ignorant in regards to office procedures

Did NOT respect my birth plan. Laughed in my face when I wanted to go natural. Gave me pitocin against my wishes and ended up in a c section even tho I expressed that was my biggest fear. He only cares about money. My birth was a nightmare and I was terrified because he wanted my baby born on his schedule. I will NEVER return or recommend! Ill never forget when he said these exact words to me This isnt the 80's where we just let nature take its course.

Terrible. Only saw him twice, first appointment and when it was time to have my c section in the operating room. Wasn't told there was nurses who were learning and practicing on me. They kept constantly checking me one after another and caused me to run a fever and had me into a c section I hated my whole experience wouldn't recommend him I'm pregnant with my second child and for sure straying away from that office.
