Dr. Victor Vega, MD

My daughter loves him. He always makes her laugh and feel comfortable. He's great.

We started seeing Dr. Vega after another doctor in the practice left. He was not friendly and made my kids feel somewhat uncomfortable. My youngest son had been struggling with chronic cough leading to fevers and vomiting and when I took him to see Dr. Vega he said it was nothing to be concerned about. When I took my son to a pulmonologist for a second opinion we found out he had Pneumonia which has since brought on other repository issues. His lack of validation for parents concern, lack of attentiveness and overall demeanor is why we no longer go to Naugatuck pediatrics.

My children were patients of Naugatuck Pediatrics for almost twenty years. The doctors there were always patient, knowledgeable and thorough and the staff throughout the years were friendly, well trained and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this office for your children's health needs.

We love Dr Vega. His sense of humor is just like ours. He is always very attentive to our children and always explains his findings to us.

After coming into the room and telling me he didn't think there was anything wrong with my son I got up and left the office and took my son to another pediatrician who was kind enough to get him right in as a new patient that same day and my son has pneumonia! Don't trust this doctor or his office staff, they are not only incompetent they are rude also.

Staff sent prescription to wrong pharmacy after two days of rude calls I found out they sent it to the wrong town...all of the women in the office were beyond rude and treated me like their incompetence was my fault... This issue was over my 7 year olds case of pneumonia not some case of the sniffles... DON'T EVER BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS MESS THEY CALL A DR'S OFFICE

Dr. Vega is a wonderful doctor. He saw my child without question due to one if the other doctor's being overbooked and behind. He is honest and direct. He tries breaking the ice by being silly with my child. He went into detail of explanations easing any worry or concerns I had. Any concerns i did have will be revisited on my childs next visit with an action plan. He truly has my childs best interest at heart. I say give him a try.

He is very rude and condescending and talks down on patients. Also the front desk staff is nasty and rude. I wasn't happy with the way I was treated so I switched Pediatrician.
