Great Experience
It's clear from the start that Dr Raposo and his staff are extremely competent, friendly and efficient. The office energy is great, and the doctor and staff work together seamlessly. We waited a little too long for wisdom teeth removal for my daughter due to Covid. Her teeth were enormous, but they were able to fit her in, in short order, and surgery went smoothly. My daughter also has quite a bit of anxiety surrounding medical procedures, but the office and staff were welcoming, going above and beyond expectations for before and after surgery, to help her understand the procedure and ease her into things. For me, they were very helpful in assisting with scheduling, and insurance coverage verification, quickly clearing up a mistake on our insurance side. Despite a later-date wisdom tooth extraction, my daughter required no narcotics due to a post surgery treatment offered for this purpose. Dr Raposo answered all of our questions and follow-up calls promptly, and eagerly saw he

Misleading staff/ discourteous dentist Long story short - HIs staff admitted they had misinformed regarding billing, that my daughters wisdom teeth would cost just under $500 to me. Months later I received another bill of $1000. Raposo would not talk with me on the phone or set up a time to do so Instead he left a voice mail letting me know he would not be taking responsibility for his staff’s misinforming me and that I should pay up. The only thing I got from his office was threats of collection Nice way to treat your patients/customers.

Misleading staff/ discourteous dentist In case you or your family is having dental work done I wanted to share with you an experience I had with Dr Raposo of Alpine Oral Surgery so you don’t have the same experience I did. Dr. Raposo seems like a competent dentist, but beware the surprise billing - for me an extra $900 on top of the $500 I was told I would have to pay. I took my daughter to Alpine for wisdom teeth removal, and we had our intake in the spring for an August operation. I was told when I checked in that the price to me would be just under $500 and the insurance would pay the rest. In August we went in and had the procedure and were very satisfied, and I confirmed that I had paid in full. Then two months later, out of the blue I received a second bill for over $900. I phoned up and was told that in the end my insurance company did not cover as much as Alpine thought they would. I checked with my insurance and Alpine had not queried my coverage to confirm at any time in t

Brought my son in to get his wisdom teeth removed. Love the staff and Dr. Raposo was great! The best part is that he doesn't use narcotics in his IVs, so when we left after the appointment he didn't have all the side effects. He healed quickly and never even had to fill his pain med prescription!

Our son is 17 yrs old and just had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Raposo. There was no bruising and little swelling. Dr. Raposo and his staff are very welcoming and take the time to sit with you and explain everything, so you and your child will be at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Raposo's office for all of your oral surgery needs.

Dr. Raposo and his staff were wonderful for both of my teenager's wisdom teeth extractions. He talked with us about alternatives to opioids for pain control and their procedures went smoothly and neither experienced much post-op pain. Even though the were sedated during the procedures, they remember hearing Dr Raposo talk to them throughout and explain everything he was doing.. Overall, a great expensive with Dr. Raposo.

I had the best experience with Dr. Raposo. I was overly pleased with his bed side manner and how friendly and out-going the staff was... I brought my 13 year old daughter in to get 2 baby teeth pulled. Of course she was nevous and scared, but Dr. Raposo's fun personality along with his assistant made her laugh and feel so comfortable. He even gave us a personal call that evening to check in on her. Thankful to have found such a great Oral Surgeon. Would highly recommend! SBB

Dentist should work on replacing his front office staff. They prioritize wisdom teeth pulling and not implant patients. The office does not take CareCredit and does a poor job billing insurance. The office is in a dated building which does not appear that clean. The office does not work patients in like they state they do. They make appts. and then fail to keep them. My children will not be having their wisdom teeth pulled at this office nor will I have my implant done.

My teenage daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Raposo and it was the best experience ever! From an incredible office staff that took great care of her during the surgery, to the skill of Dr. Raposo, the recovery was seamless. Thanks to a new product, Exparel, my daughter did not need to be on any narcotics following surgery. We managed any pain she did have with Tylenol and Advil. So worth it to not have my daughter exposed to narcotics!

Highly recommend! Because I didn't want my teenager to have any opioids for his surgery, Dr. Raposo used a new pain medication he injected during surgery and with a little Tylenol and Advil, my teen was pain free. It was well worth the extra cost of the medication to not have my teen exposed to narcotics.

Dr. Raposo is a fabulous surgeon and person. He is extremely knowledgable, takes the time to explain in detail what he will be doing, compassionate, and most importantly he is honest. His staff is friendly, and welcoming. Dr. Raposo actually cares about the patient. Every dentist should be referring their patients to Dr. Raposo, and if your dentist does not, YOU tell them you want to see him.

I practiced dentistry in Boulder County for over a dozen years. During that time, I had many patients visit Dr. Raposo's office for oral surgery care. The feedback I received was consistently positive. That's why I did not hesitate to bring my own son to Dr. Raposo's office for surgical care. I have since moved on to teaching at CU Anschutz, where there are many qualified dental specialists I could have chosen; but I chose Victor for his extraordinary skill, conservatism, knowledge and care.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Raposo--he did an awesome job. He kept me informed of what was going on and explained everything. I had no anxiety with my daughter being sedated for the procedure. The best part--my daughter's recovery was easy. I credit this to his expert touch and adequate sedation she received for the procedure. There was no crying,or bleeding and very minimal pain. The staff did a wonderful job of explaining the post op care and recovery. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Raposo examined me following my bicycle accident where I sustained facial bone fractures. He fit me into his schedule immediately for an exam & diagnosis. He advised me as to my options with absolute professionalism & I exited his medical care with utmost confidence that I received the best treatment & advise possible. As it turns out everything he counseled me on proved out to be positive results, & I am currently fully healed.
