Cured my acute neuropathy in my right foot!!
Dr. Nwosu is a brilliant and gifted Poditrist and Surgeon. I had to find a podiatrist after three months in the hospital al& wound care . I had the flesh eating bacteria in my right foot & had septic shock too. To date, I have had 13 surgeries now, my most current one was September 9 to straighten out my Dr Nwosu gave me hope that the excruciating pain in my right foot could be helped. I went through a terrible period with the neuropathy &was put on seraquel to help me sleep because the pins needles, the throbbing, & the pain kept me up. I also had to seek psychiatric help to deal with this. I was admitted to Behavioral health in hospital twice due to lack of sleep & feeling so hopeless. I had underwent the surgery in November 2021. I am completely cured. I have been off the seraquel for sleep& so happy & proud that I have not been backl to the mental hospital since 2020! This is due to Dr. Nwous who always takes his time with his patients. Excellent Dr. He listens. He cares. A HERO.

Bring a good book!
my first appointment I was in the office for three hours waiting. And then my next appointment I was waiting 2 half hours and I was the third appointment after lunch. I don’t know what’s going on, but I think the doctor is getting kickbacks for medical equipment, and when Astra direct question, Dr. Victor did everything but answer my question .

Telehealth
Dr Nwosu is very good about explaining procedure and importance of post op care. I had bunion surgery, toenail removal and then amputation. I’d trust Dr Nwosu with any surgery pertaining to foot and ankle. He cares!

Terrible experience repeatedly seeing him over 5 months for a broken foot. At first I was told 6-8 weeks recovery, at 12 months when it was still not healed I was told I may need surgery and was not provided with an updated progress timeline. He did not pay any attention to my record, suggesting that the slow healing could be causing by smoking, poor diet, or underlying health conditions - except I don't smoke, keep to a healthy diet w multivitamins, and have no underlying health issues, all which should have been in my record. My next visit a month later, things were progressing better, but he made no mention of whether I would need surgery or not, I had to ask. It was like he forgot even though it had been causing me extreme stress for the entire month. Never seemed to really care how difficult the injury was for me, seemed to just take x-rays and rush through appointments to collect a check. Had to wait over an hour to be seen for a minute.

Terrible experience with botched surgery. Got an infection and he sends me home. Second surgeon tells me I need immediate surgery to clean out the hardware and infection. During surgery, the new surgeon corrects my crooked foot. Ended up with a bacteria infection from the botched first one. Needed to have A PICC line fir daily IV infusions.

Dr. Nwosu became my doctor after Dr. Eller left the Core Institute. A year the first ankle surgery, I was still feeling pain. Each time I visited Nwosu he would tell me to just give it more time and come back after several weeks. Finally, I insisted on having an MRI that he eventually agreed to. The MRI showed that I had cartilage damage that would not repair itself. I'm s0 glad I eventually went against his awful advice. From my point of view, he could not have cared less for my ankle.
