What’s Up Doc?
First visit went well and then was seen for hearing test. I had a 6 month appointment set up but got pretty sick before that. I was told he had no availability till the end of that month. I made the next soonest appointment and was suggested I go to primary. In the meantime I got a call that my rescheduled appointment had to be canceled and rescheduled again! Now last week, my appointments was again canceled and rescheduled for April 5. I will go to the office that day, cancellation or not. The only reason I got for the rescheduling was “he won’t be in—nothing I can do about it” Sounds pretty weak… they should just say he has too large a load of patients and can’t deal with it.

Highly recommend!
I chose to take my daughter to Dr. Gentile based on word of mouth in the system I currently work in. This always speaks volumes for any healthcare professional. I had my 3 y/o daughter evaluated in his office and perform a hearing test as well same day. We were able to make an appointment with ease and to schedule surgery within a reasonable time frame. The staff were very courteous, competent and made me feel so much more comfortable (as I was a nervous wreck!) I left feeling very confident over her treatment plan. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, my daughter's surgery had to be rescheduled and Dr. Gentile was available to answer my call after hours (on the weekend) when I had concerns and questions. Thank you for your patience! On the day of surgery, Dr. Gentile greeted my husband and I with any further questions and my daughter had such a great experience and surgery outcome. I am so pleased with his care and expertise! I highly recommend this office and physician!

I was referred to Dr. Gentile by my cardiologist because I was having extreme vertigo for 4 days and can't live like this. First the person I talked to said he was not seeing any new patients until the end of the month. Then she proceeded to tell me that he couldn't do any procedures until the symptoms subside. Really? If the symptoms subside I don't need a doctor anymore to fix me.

I was supposed to have a small cyst removed in my nostril. The Dr. numbed the area and began cutting, and cauterizing. When he was complete, the cyst was still there. I don't believe he knew where he was supposed to perform the surgery, despite a diagnosis and discussion just a week prior. Now, he claims that it isn't a cyst but cartilage. Why would I have scheduled surgery then? For him to just poke around and take out tissue at will? Unauthorized procedure!

Well I don't usually write a review because I'm pretty sure it is useless! But I'd like to share my experience with this office . Well I was given a hearing test then I was led in a room to see the Doctor he looked over my hearing test told me there was a little hearing loss and then he removed some wax from my ears Told him I had tinnitus he ask no questions about the severity offered no solutions gave me two bottles of pills send me away . Very bad experience. Looking for Doctor who cares !

Dr. Gentile is INCREDIBLY short on staff. His Nurse Deborah is apparently the only person who can talk to insurance companies and schedule surgeries. You can only talk to her on Tuesdays because she's otherwise busy with the Dr. It has been over 3 weeks trying to make an appointment to have the surgery recommended by the Dr., now going on a month. At this point, I'm calling it a loss and am now looking for another Dr. While the Dr seems capable, me must take responsibility for his staff.
