Dr. Victor Faris, MD

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Faris. I came to him with concerns about my health, particularly due to a strong family history of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and kidney disease spanning three generations. Despite this, he outright dismissed the genetic component of these conditions, claiming they are entirely lifestyle-related. This not only contradicts well-established medical research but also invalidated my concerns as a patient seeking preventive care. What frustrated me most was his insistence on a one-size-fits-all recommendation of the Mediterranean diet, without considering that my body might respond better to a culturally appropriate South Asian diet. His assumption that my family’s health issues were solely due to “poor lifestyle” because of where I come from was unscientific, biased. Patient deserve better care and Dr that considers genetics not dismissed it . It's not only unscientific not to consider genetic but just wrong !

Friendly - but very slow service.

He is personal. Listens to you and will ask questions. Takes his time and doesn’t rush you out the door.

Just needed a prescription refill

He makes the patient feel comfortable from the get go and talks about your diagnosis and treatment as if you are discussing it with a friend. He is very easy to relate to as opposed to some pretentious providers that o have consulted in the past. He doesn’t rush out of the door and makes sure you understand what and why he is prescribing or diagnosing. Five stars.

Dr. Faris and his staff were great! This was my first visit and everyone I encountered was very nice and personable. Dr. Faris being a doctor was very down to earth in explaining everything medical and realistic with his suggestions for optimal health!

Dr. Faris specializes in sports medical care. He was very attentative to my needs and gave me good suggestions on diet, exercise regimen, injury prevention, etc.Dr. Faris and his team are very thorough with their care and insurance claims. In addition, we did comprehensive blood work and additional tests to diagnose issues and come up with a solid healthcare plan.Very thankful I got to see Dr. Faris! Overall excellent experience - would highly recommend!

It was for a prescription renewal!

He was very kind and open. He did not say this is what you have to do he said here are your options. Just a physical and he took the time to go over everything. First time in quite sometime that I felt I wasn’t just another person in the days busy line up!

So often I feel like when I visit the doctor they are in and out, but Dr. Faris genuinely took time to talk to me about my concerns, and advised me on possible solutions. I felt genuinely listened to, and look forward to future visits with him.
