Condescending comments about 3 physicians harsh
Went for a medical consultation for prostate cancer. Unfortunately, Dr. Chang had something harsh to say about the urologist as well as the surgeon. Very little input on this initial visit. There was a lack of empathy and despite my lab tests still insisted I had the option of AS. Not a physician for me.

Excellent
My mom travel from Naples Florida to see Dr Chang. He was recommended by a couple of surgeons I know. He's been nothing but phenomenal it's given my mom hope for at least another couple years with her terminal cancer. He explains things well, gives us all the time we need to register what's going on. No need for Sloan Kettering or Yale. It's nice to have a great doctor right in our backyard.

After Yale Smilow cancer center gave my wife a diagnosis of going into hospice as all was left. We went to Dr. Chang and he enthusiastically said we still had some options to try if we hadn't given up. My wife started a new infusion therapy with very promising results. Unfortunately, she waited too long for second opinion, and because of her previous treatments her immune system was depleted. She caught pneumonia, and landed back in ICU but wasn't strong enough to recover. I believe if we had saw Dr. Chang a few months earlier, she would have done much better and at least would have had a much better quality of life for her last few months. Just his positive attitude alone was a great help. He is a good man and a Dr. not jaded by just statistics and odds.

I have had many issues last 5 years. Dr. Chang is my favorite specialist. Kind, compassionate, he listens. I trust him implicitly. I had switched from another doctor in the practice and I'm so happy that I did.
