Caring Rheumatologist
I have been seeing Dr. Byrd for a few years now. He was able to diagnose a problem I have had for years and formulate an effective treatment plan. He and his staff have worked diligently to obtain the insurance approval needed or alternatives to insurance coverage for the medications that I need. I am able to perform many tasks that I have not been able to do in years as well as enjoy hobbies that I felt were no longer possible. He and his staff perform their roles in a professional, caring manner and I appreciate the help he has been able to provide. He demonstrates what medical care professionals should strive for in their practice but so many never achieve.

Caring, Compassionate Doctor
Dr. Byrd is one of the most caring, compassionate doctors I’ve ever had. He takes the time to listen and understand my health concerns. The quality of care he’s provided to me is absolutely outstanding. He’s exceptionally knowledgeable but also excellent at explaining complex health concepts in a manner that I can understand them. He and his staff are also very diligent about following up on test results, prescription refills, and treatment plans. Quite simply one of the best doctors and best persons I’ve ever met.

I wish all doctors could be like Dr Byrd. He is kind and listens to his patients. He allows you to be involved in decisions about treatment. Most of all he tries to improve your quality of life while dealing with these disabling diseases. I hope he never retires because he’s one that’ll be hard to replace.

I had an appointment with them at 1pm. After getting lost trying to find the place (I was coming from out of town) they never answered the phone. I finally pushed the button for physicians and they answered. I got there at 1:15. They cancelled my appointment. I explained to them that I was lost and that they didn't answer the phone. I was told that I should have left a voicemail. Not sure how leaving a voicemail would have helped me find them lol. I waited for two months to get an appoint

He is very patient, very compassionate, and knowledgeable of your medical condition. He actually saved my life I do believe. He always do what he say and he always consult you the patient before making suggestions. I’m thankful for having a real doctor who is in it for the medicine and not the money.

I have never been treated so bad at a Dr's office in my entire life. The receptionist were rude, hateful and not helpful. The other lady we interacted with, I am guessing was a nurse, was HORRIBLE. I never saw the Dr. but would never want a dr who employed people who treated others as they treated me. There is no compassion or caring from the staff.

Dr. Victor Byrd is an amazing doctor. I feel very blessed to have him as my personal physician. He is very caring and takes his time with his patients. He listens well and is very compassionate, caring and intelligent. I trust him completely. I have to travel almost 3 hours for an appointment but I will continue to do so, God willing. I would recommend him highly to anyone who is suffering with any type of arthritis condition and pain. Highest caliber of expertise!!
