Good experience
Telehealth
I had a great visit. Very engaging and attentive. Discussed multiple options for treatment and therapy. I was prescribed some medication and was instructed in detail about the medication and the reactions I should see and not see. I think she is a great Dr.

She doesn’t belong in this profession
Telehealth
She logged in 10 mins late to my video appt, “said tell me about yourself” then proceeded to not pay any attention to me while I was speaking. She offered to change the ONE MED I said was working well, when I declined she said “OK, let me know if you need anything. “….appointment over. I spent more time waiting for her to show up to the appointment than she actually spent during my appointment… A mental health intake appointment. Complete waste of time. Worthless.

STAY AWAY

Avoid her at all costs. She suggested therapy for anxiety and immediately took away my anti-depressants and sleeping pills.

She Chose the Wrong Field
Telehealth
She wanted to prescribe me medications after talking to her for five minutes. She had no follow up questions and treated me like I was burdening her with my issues. Someone mentioned she has a judgemental gaze and that is 100% accurate. She should not be in the mental health field if she is going to be treating her patients this way. I chose to not follow up with her after our first interaction and I will be having my primary care handle my meds from here on out.

Nope
Distantly stares with this judgmental gaze. Asked me one question about my meds and I answered honestly with a simple request. She denied my request without asking any questions. Didn’t ask why I felt that way and gave me no reasons for her decision to deny request. Do not recommend this doctor for men. I get the feeling that she believes herself to be wise beyond her years but her arrogance betrays her. She thinks she’s got you all figured out.

No thank you – Nov 12, 2022

Prescribed Prozac to our teenager and dismissed the symptoms she was having as “typical” when in fact, they were signs of the Black Box Warning with SSRI’s. A few days after expressing our concerns and having her tell our teenager to “keep taking the Prozac”, our teen wound up hospitalized for severe panic attacks and suicidal ideations. Would NOT recommend.

She suggested my depression is simply "winter blues." Apparently in her world, depression is caused by summer coming to an end. Also, she suggested therapy for my depression and anxiety. The therapy is M-F for six weeks. With the commute, the total time is two hours everyday. Maybe in her world, people have two free hours everyday but in the real world, it just isn't feasible. She doesn't listen.

First impression: She's nice. But after that first meeting, I didn't hear from her. I contacted her again because I knew my medication was not working and I suggested that I may have a different mental illness than was originally diagnosed. After she blatantly turned me down and just offered more pills, I got a second and third opinion. They all agreed with me and I got on the right meds. She is (or was) my primary psychiatrist, she should've been monitoring me on new meds but I haven't heard from her in over a month. 0/10 recommend

Perfectly nice lady, but more than a little distant. Seems vaguely annoyed by emails with questions about the medication she prescribed. Wasn’t interested in anything on my follow up visit aside from “Do you want more and/or different pills?”
