Dr. Vernon Maes, DO

I can only say that I wish that I had never gone to him. But when I did there was not a review system on the internet so he could be reviewed.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Maes, and already have. Not only was he very knowledgeable regarding every question that I asked, he truly listened and offered advice and options for my situation. He performed my total hysterectomy; and, upon my release, I didn’t need to take a single pain pill. He’s the perfect combination of an extremely skillful yet compassionate surgeon. I’m so grateful that I switched to Dr. Maes.

I cannot thank Dr.Maes enough! My regular family physician has only offered birth control as a solution to my extremely heavy, one day a month period which causes my iron to drop low every month. I finally listened to a friend and saw Dr. Maes starting two months ago. Each appointment he made me feel like I mattered, that he understood the struggle. He laid out all the options and let me choose which option fit my life the best. He performed a partial hysterectomy last week & I feel great!

I highly recommend Dr.Maes. He is a caring, kind, and honest doctor who will do his best to take care of his patients. He listens carefully without rushing you, and offers good advice. My laparoscopic hysterectomy surgery went very well with little pain and my recovery was good too. I'm very thankful for such a good doctor in the Goshen area.

Dr Veron Maes was wonderful for hysterectomy/pelvic prolapse repair! So glad I switched to him and got this condition taken care of after being put off by another Dr using methods that were no longer working for this! Pain from surgery was minimal, recovery going well! Highly recommend him!

I would highly recommend Dr. Maes to anyone looking for an ob-gyn. He is very professional, informative, patient, kind, caring and he did an excellent job being my surgeon for a hysterectomy. I am very, very happy with the results of that and I'm really glad I had it done for my situation.

I would never recommend this doctor. Every appointment I had with him he didn't seem caring I felt more like just a number.

I could never express my gratefulness to this wonderful Dr. He has made me feel very special at each visit. I have always felt that he'll do everything he can to help me through my medical problems. I have never felt any less than that. He has never rushed me, or left me wondering, only reached out to help me and answered all my questions as much as possible. Dr. Maes has been my OBGYN for almost 12 years now. The level of respect I have for him is extremely high. He is professional, competent, dedicated and ethical. I highly recommend him to anyone who is searching for an OBGYN you can count on and trust.
