I visited Vered Sobel for my annual eye exam. This was my first visit to her practice, Rutland Eye Physicians. Sobel told me should could not check medical and vision acuity in the same visit as this was not allowed by my insurance company. This was after I told her my concerns with floaters and black spots in my vision. I've had the same insurance for years and always had a comprehensive exam (visual acuity and medical) in the same visit. I also was not pleased by the quality of the exam. The total time in her office was 14 minutes, and half of that time was spent with her entering my medications and supplements into the computer. She did not inquire about my reading or computer habits.
