I was Dr. Barile's first patients. I am 67 years old now and still see her for regular gynecological care. She delivered my daughter when I was 41 and I had a life-threatening complication. Her quick thinking and knowledge saved my life. I feel so comfortable with her and trust her completely. I look forward to seeing her every time, which is not something every woman can say about her gynecologist. I recommend her very highly.

Horrible prenatal care. Office was disorganized and could never speak to the same person twice. Dr seemed nice but was not personable and support staff was so bad I changed offices out of distrust.

Have been going to Dr Barile for about 20 years. She is kind and personable. Very thorough with assessment. Discusses options in an easy way to understand. Always available for an urgent need. Due to insurance change I had to go to a different gynecologist for a few years but as soon as I could went back to Dr Barile. She is awesome!

On my first pregnancy I had an unwanted C-section at Scripps La Jolla. Vera Barile was the doctor. Due to the surgery I was in the hospital 5 days, my baby ended up in Childrens due to infection. C-sections in the hands of Bareile are dangerous! I demanded a V-BAC on my second pregnancy, at which time my Doctor Fired me as an uncooperative patient. I found a doula and midwife, had a very long second labor, very safe and normal Vaginal birth of a 10lb5oz boy. FIRE Vera Barile! Find a midwife!
