Modern electroconvulsive therapy
I have had treatment-resistant recurrent major depression and bipolar disorder all my adult life. Dr Sawkar found the optimal level of ECT to get me out of my depressed state and back to normal with no noticeable side effects. Also, the nurses and anesthesiologists at Dobbs Ferry Hospital are wonderful.
