I tried to schedule an appointment with him 10 days ago, and just today receive a call that they were canceling it as I needed a lung function test and report to send to an attorney. Whoever called me on his behalf barely spoke english and couldnt even get me in contact with him to ask why. The worst customer service ever.

Dr. Buddharaju is the most worthless and infuriating doctor I have ever interacted with. He is impossible to get in touch with despite literally hours and hours spent on hold with his office. He has completely ignored me for seven months since my sleep study. When I sent a complaint letter, I got in the mail a copy of my medical records (which I as a layperson cannot understand) with no explanation or recommendations. I would never recommend him to anyone.

continuing from my previous post When I asked my insurance what to do they said don't go to the appointment, I called his office and his staff told me to pay out of pocket. I later found out there is a different procedure I could do that would have been covered. His office seems to be just as rude as he is. With the long wait times between appointments and the insurance debacle it has been 6 months and I still have not received treatment.

Dr. Buddharaju saved my daughter’s life. He’s a unique physician who took ownership for her care, challenged ineffective approaches & inspired her care team to turn around her acute illness in 5 weeks. His extensive, hands-on experience, intuition & thought-leadership commanded respect of her other specialists. He integrated their recommendations into a comprehensive strategy, continually monitored her & initiated multiple time-critical, practical interventions. One day at 6am before going to another hospital, he checked her & discovered a potentially catastrophic setback underway. In 6 hours, he got her well enough to transfer to a top trauma center to undergo another life-saving intervention. He contacted physicians at the trauma center who later acknowledged that his input also saved her life under their care. He has a caring bedside manner with family members under duress & seamlessly collaborated with ICU staff & experts on my daughter’s behalf. He is a blessing to his patients.

I'm telling you, my family has been sitting at Presence-St. Mary's Hospital's ICU for the past 4 days. A family member is in critical condition. Dr. Buddharaju has been responsible, respectful and attentive. While this experience has been an ordeal, he has been a healing balm. Thank you Dr. B! The Nieves Family - Chicago, IL
