Won't Listen to You
I was with this doctor for 3 years and this was massive mistake on my part. He started off seeming a little rude, but I assumed he would have to a good doctor to be so dismissive of other human beings. If you are reading this, please don't make this mistake. I remember being overwhelmed, but the ride gets so much worse. You get one shot at picking this team, and a doctor will let you die from what you are complaining about rather than listen to you drone on. This guy won't listen if you bring up symptoms that don't fit with what he already decided. If everything goes as plan, then maybe he is okay. If anything goes off script, he has no diagnostic skills and will gaslight you into thinking you are fine. I went from reduced heart function all the way down to the bottom in 3 years at 48 years old. If you want to roll the dice, I warned you.

I have a condition that to me,has a lot of unknowns. I saw Dr. Boppana and vaguely mentioned a very painful incident. It was important and he is ordering tests. I hadn’t had that happen in a long time and Dr. Boppana was on it immediately. Very kind, interested in me, asked me thoughtful questions about the incident I had. Then he began to explain this condition and how and why it happens. He didn’t hurry me, it was a longer appointment. I feel very safe in his care and his pleasant, caring. and very thorough manner is what anyone would want! Highly recommend!

Awesome Dr Boppana
Dr Boppana is the only heart doctor I ever want to see. I truly believe he cares about a patient's health more than an other doctor I have ever seen. He has improved my quality of life tremendously.

Knows how to milk the insurance
Hes smart but bedside manor is crap, very smug! I was referred to him after having a stroke. After all testing was done and my heart was fine, he pushed for further monitoring implanting a chip I REFUSED. I dont see why I want to be a guinea pig for someone that cant give me the answers I need. And booking appointments without my knowledge for unnecessary follow ups, the copays for specialist sure add up. Beware!

Dismissive
Dr. Boppana was dismissive of my symptoms and assumed things he was unable to know. To further explain this... He listened to my heart while I was sitting upright for a few seconds. I told him that my primary care physician had heard something when I was lying down that wasn't present when I was sitting. He said "I didn't hear anything" but didn't have me lay down to listen again. He told me that the diagnosis from my previous test was wrong, even though he could not see the actual readings from the test to determine if the diagnosis was wrong or not. When he asked if I had any more questions, he was actively standing up and walking away. This was my first visit with him and he didn't offer any sort of patient education related to my diagnosis.

Phenomenal. I had been to the ER 2 times with an inability to breath. My symptoms were dismissed. The 3rd time I got him and he diagnosed a blockage immediately, treated me and I went home able to breathe. I think he is an excellent caring physician.

He is obviously very knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be done and why. During the proceedure, he was kind and explained what he would be doing. He was focused on his job but still notice my discomfort level was high and quietly told his staff what to do to fix that. I will continue to see him and trust him with my cardiac care. An excellent doctor.

Surprised that Dr. Boppana has not many reviews, probably being new. Believe me he is going to be the busiest guy soon in town. He is one if the finest physicians I saw. He said my health is his priority and he doesnt care that I cant give a penny to him despite seeing me many times now. Very grounded and gave me true expectations and now I am in the best phase of my life. Would recommend him anytime if you are looking for a cardiologist who cares.

Very poor bedside manner. He did not even examine me prior to making recommendations - he only looked at an ultrasound report that was done over a month prior, and it was obvious it was his first time reading it. He had no medical history and asked me no questions regarding my health or reason for visit. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, after I waited over a month to see him. His office is very disorganized and apparently is unfamiliar with HIPPA. I was able to hear all personal information of a fellow patient while waiting to see MD. The receptionist read out loud my credit card information as she typed it in. It took 2 weeks to get in compression socks that were ordered by staff, as they ordered the wrong size after measuring me themselves. I asked that my insurance be verified on my initial visit to avoid any delay in treatment. That was not done and there is a two month wait for procedure appointments. I would not recommend this MD...there are others in town.
