I had a great experience with Dr. Namburu. He was direct and to the point. He explained the procedure and what he was looking for. I feel like he listened to all my concerns and addressed them straight to the point. If you’re looking for a doctor who is truthful and thorough, I highly recommend Dr. Namburu

Wish I had read these reviews prior to making appt
I was shocked and dismayed by my recent initial consultation with Dr. Namburu. After a 45 min wait, during which time I observed his office staff blatantly violating HIPPA privacy rules, he gave me less than 5 min of his time. He was disinterested, uncaring, ignorant of my medical history, and unwilling to receive information. Not once did he make eye contact or demonstrate concern for me or acknowledge my painful symptoms. He informed me that my diagnosis of bile reflux post gastric surgery was not real... “Some doctors may believe in bile reflux, but I don’t”. I do not know what medical school Dr. Namburu attended, but I would suggest he broaden his knowledge by referencing the research findings of both the Mayo and Cleveland Clinics. Around min 4 he began inching towards the door to make his escape asking ”do you want scopy?” This doctor’s behavior and attitude were beyond a poor bedside manner, they were neglectful. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to Dr. Namburu’s office.

Told me I had cancer and I DIDN'T!!!
While I was admitted into Huguley, I guess he was a 'fill in,' and I found out it was his 'first day' there. My GI Specialist could attend to me at that time, and this guy comes in and tells me I have cirrhosis of the liver, pancreatic cancer, and colon cancer. What?! No, I don't. I have UC. I asked him what he was talking about, and he goes, 'oh, wrong Dominguez.' He then shuffles out of the room. He had the nerve to come back 2 days later after I complained and say, 'I heard there was a complaint of miscommunication.' Ummm? Yes. The AUDACITY! Thank God he's not my doctor. Please do not pay this man for anything. DO NOT TRUST HIM AS YOUR DOCTOR!!!!!

My first visit he was not pleasant. When I had my procedure he didn’t see me before or after the procedure. The surgery staff had to tell what was found and the after care. I will not be a returning patient.

Absolutely horrible doctor. He ordered a sonogram for my Father’s liver. Got the results, never called us to follow up. Finally got a hold of him- he asked me “Why you calling my office so much?” Are you kidding me?? “He has liver damage, told you that last time”. When I asked what our next steps were he said “Nothing. Take him to the hospital if he gets sick”. I cannot fathom taking a vow to be a health care profession and not giving one lick about your patients. Perhaps if my father wasn’t on Medicare you would have taken a higher interest in his condition. I will do everything in my power to make sure you are known as a dismissive, vile, and heartless human being. I hope you get back exactly what you put out.

Absolute disappointment, and waste of time. This “Doctor” was one of the worse I have seen, as I attempted to share, explain, inform him of my medical situation, he cut me off, he was not interested, he simply asked me, “Do you want to be scope?” 5 min at the very most, shameful!

This doctor is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!! Do NOT recommend at all. He does not communicate, he only gives you a few minutes of his times(OR LESS), he doesn’t eye contact, any time I asked a questions or made a statement he just said “yea”. He treated me like I was a nobody, He would be the reason I get Colon Cancer because he is not concerned about my symptoms, questions, pictures, or recovery. I left his office in tears because I was so exhausted by the third visit of not getting answers, medication that shows improvement, or advice on how to manage my NEW ulcerative colitis. This man is extremely disrespectful towards women. I told myself I would give him another try and I even justified the first two visits telling myself maybe he was just tired or going through something, but after the third visit I came to Realization that he is does not care if I get better , he just wants my money. I refuse to go back and I will be getting a new doctor. DO NOT GO PLEASEEE

Dr. Nambaru and his team he uses at Harris Methodist are so distasteful. Had the absolute worse bedside manner, including calling me as a patient DIRTY! DIRTY I REPEAT! I followed all his instructions, his medicine doesn’t work and I am referred to as dirty. On top of his nurses shaming me. To be clear. He never listened to my issues only cattle called me to the colonoscopy. Humiliated is how I left. Thank you Doctor.

Terrible doctor! Doesn’t give you the time, or explain details. Always acts like he is pressed for time. You are lucky if he gives you 30 seconds of his time to talk or treat you like a human being. This is the typical case of doctors, mainly foreigners in the US, that are forced to study Medicine by parents vs being truly passionate about caring for patients. Would like to see him get treated the same way he treats patients once he gets older and requires care and attention from doctors. If you are going to pay to see a specialist, avoid this one. Pay to see someone that cares and treats you humanly.

He talked and never let me explain or ask questions. It seemed to me that he is set on prescribing Protonix and doing a camera down my throat. Seems like his mind was made up before he even entered the room. I am scheduled for the procedure and I will let you know how that goes.

This is the worst doctor's visit I've ever had. I walked out without finishing up my appointment. The doctor is rude and didn't not read the report from my referring physician. He stated he had read the report but based on his statements he never read anything. He eventually told me if I didn't like it I could get out. So I left. Nothing professional about this man and I will be filing a complaint.
