Dr. V. Batas is absolutely amazing!
Dr. Batas is absolutely amazing. I'm fortunate that I met him. I went through the rehabilitation program in Tampa General Hospital twice. When I first met Dr. Batas, I needed to be accepted in the TBH Rehabilitation department. He noticed that my arm is bent and he gave me a medication that was originally studied for use with Cerebral Palsy. Prior to its use, people with Cerebral Palsy.Dr. Batas accepted me into the rehabilitation program and gave me the shots every three to four months. We continued doing this for several years. Unfortunately, I fell down again breaking my right leg and foot. I was sent to a nursing home in a different county. As a result we weren't able to meet. I'm in the correct county now but still unable to get together with him. I've looked into finding a physiatrist when I was in Lakeland, Florida but I never found one who could give me the same medication that Dr. Batas gave to me. It would be a wonderful blessing to have Dr. Batas taking care of me again.

I suffered from spinal cord nerve damage 3 years ago and continue with severe issues. I was referred to Dr. Batas for an exam. I was in pain throughout the exam as he had me perform several types of movement with my body. Dr. Batas stated he found no issues with me and that I have no physical problems. I question his ability to diagnose and treat physical issues. I also feel he is not compassionate or caring toward his patients. I hope this may encourage others to seek a different provider
