Dr. Veluvolu Rao, MD

Dr Rao is old school type of a doctor. He is meticulous. He is very soft spoken and friendly. He asked questions in detail and gave me carefully thought out suggestions and answers. For example, he resolved a dermatological issue, when two other dermatologists couldn't resolve. He gave excellent suggestions and treatments. Often, doctors today seem to be concentrating on their typing of the conversation and record keeping (I don't blame them), than actually spending time discussing with the patient, the patient's needs and issues; but not Dr Rao.He listens carefully and offers compassionate and excellent solutions.

Always pleasant visits and thorough exams and Q&A. Refers me to very good specialists when diagnosis' or conditions arise.

I have seen DrRao over 40 years I trust him..easy to talk too and when I need a specific DrFor another issue he recommends the best..

My experience is always good with Dr. Rao. He treats me great, listens attentively with my concerns, treats me, not just symptoms, refers me when needed to other doctors, follows through when I was treated for Stage 1 Ductile Breast Cancer through a different facility.

Unbelievably patient while listening to you and your concerns. Had a proper annual exam and ordered the test that I knew I'd need even if I wasn't thrilled. I'm sure now I'll have a doctor that will work with the other specialists I see.

Not sure what happened in the past few years. Been seeing Dr. Rao for Many years now but some of the Caring and Needs I have just don't have the punch anymore for myself where needed. Several health issues over the years are still lingering in my body, and it seems that the Listening part of the DR. needs much work, as well as a better understanding to My needs which lacks. Perhaps I've just been with him too long?
