When I first met Dr Simms Chiang I realized that she really loves helping people and she also let me know that I could ask all the questions I needed to so I could be confident that I was making the right decision for myself and I wasn’t alone and she was really there because she loves what she does and she was teaching me that I no longer need to suffer in silence she is the best now I’m so glad that I met her my life is forever changed for the Best

I had a complex issue that I came to see her for, she spent 10 minutes with me and didn’t really listen or to try to think of what could be a more complex cause. She gave me some basic response, wrote a prescription, and left. Then she inflated my bill by saying I was with her for 45 minutes to an hour. I would not recommend this doctor if you want someone who cares about your issue and will take the time to try to find a complex solution. She seems to get you in and out so she can bill you a hefty amount.

After being gaslit and misdiagnosed by one of her colleagues, Dr Chiang was wonderful. She took time with me, answered all my questions and created an action plan to make things better. Dr. Chiang is definitely my jam. If you need an excellent female urologist look no further.

I know her reviews are generally positive, but take a sincere look at other physicians before you go to her practice. Maybe she was having two bad days, but she was cold on both my first and second visit. Especially on my second visit, I'd been so nervous to get my results and learn about the next steps to fix the problem at hand, and she was callous and indifferent. I did not feel like she was listening to me at all and just wanted me to leave. I was not a priority for her and will never go back.

Dr. Simma-Chiang has been very helpful! I found her to be very attentive, to really LISTEN to what I was saying, and I greatly admired her stating explicitly that her job was to help me improve my quality of life. And….best of all: she has helped to improve my situation and therefore my quality of life. Very grateful to Dr. Simma-Chiang!

Dr Simma-Chiang is pleasant enough, but after being her patient for a few years, I finally had to leave. 1) Consistently late to every single appointment I’ve had with her. 2) Didn’t feel like she took my opinion of my care seriously. 3) After the first appt, subsequent appts have all been short (which is fine bc I don’t have a complicated issue), yet she bills for a 30-40 min appt inflating my cost unnecessarily. I would hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.

Gets very snippy if you question proposed tests and seems to have a chip on her shoulder if you don't automatically accept whatever she says.

Avoid. She is condescending to patients.

I had been having trouble scheduling an appointment with a urologist. Dr. Simma-Chiang saw me right away and was friendly, caring, interested in me as a person, and informative in a non-overly technical way. Unlike many doctors, she put me at ease rather than making me nervous and I didn't feel rushed. Highly recommended.

My brother visited Dr. Simma Chiang’s Office about 3 weeks ago and we were very pleased. I am using this opportunity to express our family’s appreciation for her helpfulness and warmth throughout the appointment. We are ever so grateful for her continued expert guidance and for addressing all our questions!

I found Dr. Simma-Chiang at the end of a long road of gaslighting doctors who did not take my symptoms seriously. My first meeting with Dr. Simma-Chiang was immediately productive – she swiftly arranged for the necessary testing protocols as well as a speedy next-day referral to an oncologist. My husband and I credit her with saving my life, for sure! Along with incisive expertise in her specialty area, Dr. Simma-Chiang has a sunny disposition that quickly puts you at ease. We recommend her highly!

So caring & after a year of my chronic problem, Dr. Chaing prescribed medication that has eliminated the problem! So happy!!

Dr. Chiang completed the job with excellence. She explained everything to me and left no stone unturned.

This is a mandatory exam for men 40 years old and up. She has been my Urologist for many years. She is easy to talk to about any and all my health issues and concerns. I always leave knowing, I got intelligent, thoughtful information in regards to any and all of my health issues and concerns. Professional! Five Stars!

Dr. Simma-Chiang is knowledgeable, a kind and caring physician. She listens carefully and is positively responsive.

Dr. Simma-Chiang is the easiest Dr to talk to and she makes you feel very comfortable. It was a great appointment that I had so much anxiety to attend that it actually was a relief! She explained everything throughly and asked if I had any questions multiple times. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

I came down with an acute UTI last Saturday and sent Dr Simma-Chiang a message via Mt Sinai MyChart asking her advice. She responded almost immediately, which I really appreciate at a weekend. She is always very responsive and thorough.

I recently became a patient of Dr. Simma-Chiang's. I highly recommend. She is as brilliant as she is kind. She offered me clarity on options for treatments for kidney stones and clear guidance on prevention and a path forward. She actually listened and really cared and allowed for time for the many questions I had. She had reviewed my scans and reports in advance of our appointment rather than glancing at them for the first time during our time together, as other urologists I've seen have done. I felt completely confident in her thoughtful diagnosis and prevention plan.
