Dr. Vanessa Dance, MD

Absolutely horrible patient experience!!!! Waited for months to be seen. First appt cancelled day before by Dr. Dance then had to wait 2 more months to be rescheduled. Called in morning before making over an hour and half drive and leaving an urgent work needs to go. Was told to come, all is good. Then walk in door and was told, I'm sorry we are needing to cancel your procedure again!!!! If I could give less stars I would!!!!!

I started my pregnancy with Dr.Dance and was told my first appointment would be with her Nurse Practitioner Kim Bates, but every appointment after would be with Dr.Dance. As of 26 weeks pregnant I still had not met or even had email or chat correspondence with Dr. Dance, only Kim. I found Kim to be very dismissive and always in a rush. She never spent more than 5 minutes with me and would almost always nervously chuckle whenever I would express my concerns or questions. Kim’s bedside manner and the fact that I had never even spoke to Dr. Vanessa Dance after 26 weeks made me switch providers. Switching providers, even that late in pregnancy was the best decision I have ever made.

I have never felt more comfortable with a healthcare provider let alone an OBGYN. Not only does Dr. dance have an incredible demeanor overall, but she cares about the health and well-being of her patients. From the first appointment you have with her to your very last she goes above and beyond for your care making sure you heard any questions you have her answered and you leave the office with reassurance. I could not recommend her enough to anyone who is looking for an OBGYN, especially if you are pregnant when it came to the birth of my second child my daughter, and I were beyond blessed to have her as our provider. I had never felt more comfortable in my birthing experience when she was overseeing my care.

Dr. Dance was extremely kind and professional. She took the time to explain my procedure and what to expect. The office staff is professional and courteous. Even though she also delivers babies, I never felt rushed during my GYN appointments.

Dr. Vanessa Dance is a Brevard County Blessing. I am beyond grateful for her exceptional expertise that guided me through 3 pregnancies to bless me with one single, natural birth and two sets of twin c-sections. Dr. Dance was always available for questions and she and her team made each birthing experience very comfortable. Thank you Dr. Dance for all you do!

Excellent doctor & team, highly recommended.

I saw Dr. Dance for regular appointments through my pregnancy, and she delivered my first child. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and took the time to share her expertise with me regarding the many questions and concerns I brought to her along the way. My husband and I are both extremely thorough and particular about our medical care, and found not only Dr. Dance, but her entire staff very helpful and professional. When I called the office, they were consistently fast to support whatever I needed. During my delivery, Dr. Dance stayed many hours past her scheduled shift to guide me through my daughter’s birth. Dr. Dance was intimately involved in all stages of my labor, truly caring to learn my individual situation, and then going well above and beyond to ensure positive progress. She gently coached me through labor, and did not hesitate to suggest and introduce positions and tools that helped immensely in having a 10 lb baby with no pain meds or complications. She’s amazing!

Horrible doctor. DO NOT GO TO HER OFFICE IF PREGNANT. Gross Negligence. Your life will literally depend on you finding another doctor.

Dr. Dance and her Staff are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people you'll ever find in a Doctor's office. A Friend of mine recommended Dr. Dance and Kim Bates when I moved to the Cocoa Beach area two years ago and it's been a pleasant experience ever since. I never feel rushed, everything is explained to me, Dr Dance will answer any question you have and she recently had to perform surgery on me and from start to finish every thing went well and I have experience no pain after my surgery. I would highly recommend this OBGYN Practice to anyone looking for a Wonderful Doctor, a Great Nurse Practitioner and kind and accommodating Staff. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY. Susie Roumanis

Dr. Dance's practice is the best I've been to! She and her staff are always kind, attentive, and informative. She is always open to helping me, even answering my phone calls with questions on her days off. The appointment process is always enjoyable; she has a gorgeous and relaxing waiting room with beautiful art and music. As long as you arrive at the correct time, you'll be seen on time. She is very kind and personable, and she takes the time to fully answer any question you may have. I highly recommend her!

We loved our experience with Dr. Dance so much when she delivered our second baby 4 years ago that we went back to her this year for the birth of our third. At my first appointment she warmly welcomed me....as if I were a friend. Both she and the NP Kim Bates are warm, professional and even joyful....a welcome feeling in a drs office. My husband and I felt Dr. Dance was truly interested in the healing process not just the health care of her patients. She made sure that the nurses understood what would make me (specifically) comfortable in a hospital setting (not my strong suit!). We highly recommend Dr. Dance and her excellent staff!

Dr. Dance is thorough when talking with you about your health. She has answered any questions I have had. I greatly appreciate her. You can tell she genuinely cares for her patients and puts their health first.
