Rude and dismissive
I got stuck with Dr. Nehra. I had an appointment with another doctor but was unknowingly rescheduled with Dr. Nehra instead. That in itself was unacceptable. She didn't even specialize in the condition (celiac disease) that I was recently diagnosed with. When I questioned the next steps that she had proposed, she became rude, annoyed and dismissive. When I asked her what if bloodwork and endoscopy results contradicted each other, she said she didn't have time to go into that. It's important to note that I was with her for about ten minutes, so I wasn't manipulating her time. In addition to being rude and dismissive, I strongly question her knowledge of celiac disease. She said things that did not align with Dr. Murray (her colleague) who has authored a book on celiac disease. AVOID HER.

Seeing Dr Nehra was a complete waste of my time. I came to Mayo hoping for answers and guidance from the best. I clearly was appointed to the wrong doctor. She doesn't listen or care to discuss alternative options. I will NOT see her again and would not recommend that anyone else does either. So disappointed in my first Mayo experience.

Terrible doctor. Didn’t take time to figure what was wrong with me. Wanted to stop seeing me after 2 visits and still no information. Don’t waste your time going to her.

If I could give 0 starts I would! Doesn't take time to go through any information. Immediately jumps to nerve pain and is unwilling to budge on her opinion. Will not listen to patient, cuts them off, and very rude. Absolutely would not recommend anyone to go to this awful excuse of a doctor if they actually want real answers or a real doctor to try to solve the problem. You will get blown off and ignored and leave way more frustrated and stressed than when you arrived!

I met Dr Nehra and was immediately comfortable. She listened. She heard. She was exceeding polite and kind. I would highly recommend. She also offered and moved my inly appt of the day up approx 5.5 hours so I could have the entire day off to enjoy the city or relax.

Would not recommend. Doesn't listen. She seemed to form an opinion right away that my husband was fine & got the sense we were a nuisance when we tried to point out other symptoms she ignored (constant nausea and 40lbs of unintentional weight loss). She set him up for behavioral medicine at the initial consult & the specialist there chose her words carefully but seemed completely dumbfounded at Dr. Nehra's inaction & lack of desire to address my husband's symptoms. Very discouraging experience.

Dr Nehra is not the most polite physician I've ever had. She can be a little short or cut you off during an answer when she's heard the part she's interested in. But her medical opinions are outstanding. I would trust her with a life-threatening illness, either for me or someone I love.
