Excellent Doctor
She seemed nice, but at the same time, she was rushed, and I didn't feel like I could take any of her time to ask questions. I have asthma, and she just wanted to put me on steroids, without asking me any questions about my symptoms, or doing any pulmonary function tests, or understanding my concerns about steroids. After two appointments with me feeling uncomfortable and having no level of trust with her as my PCP, I decided to leave Kaiser. The Kaiser system was fine in every other respect, but this doctor was not a good match for me or my medical needs.

She listens and cares.
Dr. Valynn T. Chong heard both my spoken and unspoken concerns. I didn't tell her that I was worried about the financial side of care, but she heard me loud and clear and provided ideas for continued KP care at what will certainly be a reduced rate financially.
