Fmla
2nd visit, Refused to fill my FMLA, ive had for 5 years with my prior doctor who retired. Told me I just need to have my problem fixed. I cannot afford to take off 6 to 8 weeks. So she flat out refused to fill them out. Said that I hadn't seen the specialist in the last 5 years in the after notes and that's a lie, it's been maybe been a little over a year. Why waste the time of a specialist when I know I cannot afford to take the time off for surgery! Told me if I missed work she would write me a note. (Doesn't work that way with my job they will deny it.). She Also stated that the doctor who retired said she wouldn't keep filling out the paper work even though the old fmla papers say life long! Made me come in pay a co pay to not fill out my paper work when I could have been talked to on the phone, and told she doesn't fill paperwork out!

Went to her to establish care
Went to meet and visit her for the very first time today. She barely had time to listen to my concerns and when she did she would use the excuse that 'She has been a doctor for 30 years she knee what she was doing' When asked about portal communication she mentioned excessive 'we would have a problem' After reading notes from the visit she stated I was a patient who needed hand holding and she's not that kind of doctor. I can tell you what other kind of doctor she is one that lacks empathy. Would not recommend.

Dr. T was my primary for 10 years. The first several years were just fine and she assisted in diagnosing me with a few different issues. However, in recent years she has been dismissive about my concerns, seems to be bothered by my questions and is very curt. I went in with a sore wrist about 10 days after falling. She looked at me & asked "how long do you think it should take to heal?" I said I didn't know maybe a week or two. She said 6-7 weeks, come back then if it's still hurting. And it was and I went back and ended up seeing a hand surgeon. During COVID had another injury occured and she refused to see me in person so we had to do a telehealth visit which would be OK but she couldn't examine my injury and dismissed me for another 6 weeks at which point I insisted on an x-ray and discovered I had a hairline fracture. I have reported her to McFarland and found a new PCP. I would NOT recommend.

Dr. Torgerson has been dismissive of the last three concerns I presented to her for. For each concern, I sought care elsewhere, where I was listened to, tested, and diagnosed with a medical condition. If I had settled with Dr. Torgerson's assessment and dismissiveness, I would be continuing to suffer daily. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Torgerson refused to listen to my concerns. I’m not able to sleep, and she flat out told me that “I can’t help you because you have children.”
