Irresponsible
Understanding that doctors are very busy, this was nonetheless a serious lack of communication on the part of Dr. Gendron. From our perspective, she seemingly didn't care enough about Dennis to report and discuss her findings directly to us in a timely manner. My husband and I have many important obligations and did not want to travel for over an hour, expect to have surgery on the day it was scheduled and then find out, at the very last minute, all of the dangers that related to the surgery. This inconvenience precipitated a series of unnecessary adjustments to our productive lives.The irresponsibility on Dr. Gendron’s part to process such important and crucial information in such a slipshod manner was potentially dangerous. She compromised our doctor/patient relationship which might have had negative lifetime ramifications. Ultimately, it constitutes a breech of trust.
