I had a heart attack and was at Abbott Northwestern. Dr. Shaikh was Great at explaining exactly what my condition was, what needed to be done and what I should expect based on the outcome of the procedure. He was very thorough and patient with my questions.

I experienced a serious colon perforation. Dr. Shaikh was thorough, communicated clearly, listened and took action. He was skilled and experienced. His diligent efforts played a big role in my recovery, in a situation that could have had a tragic outcome.
