I had my surgery back in Sept. 2024. So far Dr. Sherman and his staff have been wonderful! I would highly recommend him. Before my surgery, he took a incredible amount of time with me and answered all my questions. When I need to get in touch with his office I use MyChart and have always had a great response time from him or his staff.

Dr. Sherman
Overall, Dr. Sherman was very pleasant to deal with. Very kind, professional, and excellent bedside manner. However, he has absolutely ruined my life. I was referred to his practice in 2020 for a hiatal hernia repair by my gastroenterologist. I underwent laparoscopic nissen fundoplication in the summer of 2020. Initially after the surgery, I had the typical post-operative pain, bloating, and dysphagia. Here we are in 2024, still with postoperative dysphagia. I’ve had 5 EGDs with balloon dilatation which only lasts temporarily. I am unable to tolerate any sort of meat, potato, pasta (basically any food) without washing the food down with room temperature water after every single bite. This in turn causes me to get extremely full due to the excessive water intake required to pass the food through the LES, making it impossible to finish a meal. It has caused me tremendous anxiety, as I can not enjoy a meal at a restaurant due to the fear of running out of water. I can not eat ANYTHING wit

I had my surgery during the HEIGHT of the pandemic. His staff called daily, his bedside manners was the most caring and professional. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of having this surgery. My BMI is already under 30. I could not wish for anything more. Thank you for giving me my life back Dr. Sherman.

Good surgeon, but the follow up is awful. Never came into my room at the hospital after surgery. Took 4 days for his PA to call when I was as sick at home and just today my appointment was moved but my wife is going in for a scheduled delivery. No option, way under staffed, and doctors in the practice do not help each other

Dr. Sherman is the best! He has a great bedside manner. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer all your questions. My surgery experience was great, and follow ups have been quick and easy. I would definitely recommend him!
