Nope
Long wait times, excuses, very ill patients waiting often 4 to 6 hours (or more) to be seen. Caregivers not allowed in room with patient, even if patient is deaf or has memory issues. Never explains why procedures are recommended. Does pacemaker battery changes like an assembly line.

Terrible office management!
Unable to obtain cardio clearance for three months, despite PCP and my daughter in law contacting him continuously, therefore went with new doctor! I was charged $90 even though new insurance has $0 copay and or deductible! Found out that he does not have personnel to handle the billing, insurance or patient records. He’s handling it all himself. New cardiologist office tried for a month to obtain medical records from him, so they contacted my daughter in law. She contacted his office via phone calls or in person for three months to obtain my records! Also, when she was finally able to pickup my records he wanted to charge me $50. My daughter in law told them no and if we didn’t get them he could get the $50 from the original $90 that I was charged in January. Medicare, my former insurance, sent a statement to me showing that he tried to charge them for my Jan 18, 2024 visit. Furthermore, wait time for office visits were always at least four to six hours! He needs to be investigated!

DO NOT SEE HIM!!!
Wait time can be as long as 5 hours. His excuse is taking time with his patients, which is very unlikely. Made patients wait while he saw mom patients, which took awhile. So the patient list was at a stand still. OkDoes not care if he makes his patients wait. Heard from another patient that if a patient leave because of the wait time he still bills the insurance. So watch out for that!!DO NOT SEE HIM!!!

Excellent Cardiologist and Patient Educator
Dr. Dim visited me in my hospital room at 9:45 pm. He is an excellent Cardiologist deeply concerned for the mental and physical health of his patients. I have had to wait a couple of hours after my scheduled time but he is worth the wait! My wife and I travel to Dallas for most of our medical care and treatment. We only settle for the best. Dr Dim is one of the best and he is local!

Dr. Dim Cares about You
Dr. Dim will listen to you for 30 seconds (like a normal doctor) or he will listen to you for 30 minutes and really try to understand you and your concerns. That said, you can expect your wait times to be horrible, because he spends a lot of time with his patients. If you want a doctor who treats you like a person and not a number, you may have to be a patient patient. I went in for an ablation. Before the procedure I was hooked up to a couple of EKGs and they waited for my heart to skip. We waited and waited and waited until finally it skipped a few times. Everyone was happy because that is all that was needed to make insurance happy. However, Dr. Dim came in and looked at my EKG and said he couldn't justify the procedure because I was doing so well. He could have done the surgery/procedure, but he didn't. He canceled it. I even wanted him to do it and get it over with. But I trusted his judgement. I never got it. Never needed it. I'm doing great and I have utmost respect for him.

WARNING SEEK another cardiologist, PLEASE get a second opinion. Dim Uzodinma ONLY wants to do surgery procedures because it’s more money in his pocket, he DOES NOT do thorough examinations to determine every possible cause in providing the best least invasive treatments. You DO NOT want to end up with having a UNNECESSARY procedure done on your vital organ. He’s DISMISSIVE OF PATIENT CONCERNS, RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, OVERWORKED, A BAD FIT FOR THIS PROFESSION, POOR COMMUNICATION WITH PATIENT, WILL NOT RETURN CALLS, POOR RECORD KEEPING and BEWARE OF THE FANCY BUILDING ITS A CAMOUFLAGE OF THE POOR MEDICAL TREATMENT THE PATIENT WILL BE RECEIVING. The wait times are EXCESSIVELY LONG, like you won’t get home until midnight, that’s from sitting in his office for 4-10 hours NO LIE! Due to his NON-LISTENING SKILLS he will misdiagnose the patient and the wrong medications will be prescribed. THANKFULLY I will be seeking another cardiologist/electrophysiologists to fix my health issue with my heart.

I had been a patient with Dr. Dim at his clinic: International Cardiovascular for over a year and he is a very dismissive doctor, takes hours to see him even with a set appointment and whenever I requested my medical records to go to a new Cardiologist over a month and a half ago they continue to tell me that they are not ready.

Terrible! I wish I could say he was a bad doctor, but he's not. His office wait time is the worst 5-6 hrs! No kidding. Not enough office staff. You can never speak to him unless you are seeing him for an appointment.

His wait time is ridiculous. I waited for my husband to be seen over 6 hours for Results only. He needs to not schedule so many patients if he can't see them all. 2 hrs, maybe 3, is manageable, but 5 plus is abuse!

Sadly I would not recommend this doctor to my friends nor family unless you do not plan on doing anything else the day of their appointment as wait times are outrageous. Twice this week I left after waiting over 2 and half hours after my scheduled appointment time. Both times patients arriving at least an hour after me began complaining that they had been waiting too long were taken in before me...the lesson here is those who make a scene and complain loudly are seen first. I will not be returning and will look for another cardiologist. Staff is not professional either. I waited 6 minutes before being acknowledged at the front desk, and then all I was asked without any eye contact was, "name?"...no hello, good afternoon...Wow! Then after a busty woman went in for a holter that was put on by a young man, he and the young woman behind the desk were making inappropriate remarks about the busty woman who had just left...talk about unprofessional.. unbelievable. Dr. get rid of your staff

Appointment for 86 year old elderly was at 1pm and waited in the waiting room naked, in a paper gown until 7:30pm. Made a complaint at 4:30pm and doctor said we had the choice to leave if we wanted. How is this professional?

The talent of this particular doctor is not at all what I will be revieweing today, nor his character or anything having to do with the way he practices medicine. My BIGGEST gripe is that an appointment is scheduled, as a patient, I show up ON TIME, and have to wait FOUR, almost FIVE hours before I get to see the doctor. I do not know if he is overbooked by his staff or if he is aware that this is being done but either way, it is ridiculous. As a “professional“ patient who has been dealing with doctors my whole life, I understand there will be some wait time but when I have an appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM, and do not get called in to see him until almost 7:00 PM, there is a serious problem. Not only that but considering the nation’s current COVID-19 epidemic, there are no social distancing precautions in place. I wish I were exaggerating but sadly, I am not. Book less or expedite the process because it is absolutely ridiculous.
