He has been my heart doctor for almost 20 years. Explains everything to you and also does not rush to get you out of the office.

Get a second opinion when it comes to your heart
He did a Heart Cath procedure on my mom at Thomasville Medical Center. He told us she could be treated with medicine and sent her home after the procedure. She passed away at home sometime in the middle of the night.

He has brought me back from "near" death to where I am active, including gardening, walking, dancing and so much more.

My mother was sent to Dr. Khawaja due to accute, sudden swelling and shortness of breath. After he reviewed her results, he said a few words to her and said nothing to me or my father about his findings. Sent her home althought she was in respiratory failure with an oxygen lvl of 76!! I work in the medical field and was appalled and flabbergasted they sent her home! Needless to say, I took her straight to HP ER where she is now getting the care she needs. I wouldn't take my dog there! Shame

I work in the medical field and I understand we are the most critical of treatment in our healthcare, however, the treatment of my mother from this Dr. really flabbergasted me. Without going into a lot of details, I must say, this is the worst I've seen in the treatment of a patient. She is in CHF, with LVH, and pulmonary edema/effusion? Her oxygen levels were NOT checked and she was released on these findings the same day?! (with a referral appointment with the lung Dr. 3 weeks later)
