Dr. Usha Musunuru, MD

I have been seeing this doctor for 5-6 years now and every time I swear it will be my last time. First of all, her nurse is incompetent at blood draw -- she spend 3 minutes trying to fish for my vein until she finally gave up and told me to go to Quest for blood draw (I have since been to quest 3 times and none of those times did I faint, have bruising, or spent minutes getting dug into my arm). Same experience with this nurse for 2 of my other family members. Second, I have had a variety of medical concerns in the past 5 years. 3 of them could be externally examined (e.g. I had a swollen lymph node, a bump on my elbow). During the exam Usha Musunuru nods and says she will check on those at the end (why at the end???). She always forgets and I have to quite literally stop her from exiting the room in order to finish addressing my concerns. First time, I thought it was an accident. It isnt -- she is unattentive. Lastly, she forgot to examine my abdomen during routine physical.

We have been seeing Dr Musunuru for 10+years. Dr M is a wonderful physician with a great bedside manner. She listens carefully, provides necessary diagnosis and feedback and most of all cares about my physical and mental health and well-being. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Dr. Musunuru for many years. She is thorough, personable, and takes her time with me. Dr. Musunuru has a great bedside manner and has always given me the best suggestions moving forward. She truly cares for her patients and has always followed up personally with a phone call with the results of my tests. I would highly recommend her!

This provider was awful. Absolutely terrible. She ignored my medical history when I was describing my pain because "I'm too young to have this condition". In addition, when I asked for clarification about a diagnosis and what that could mean, she brushed me off and showed very little empathy when I was talking to her about it. Despite the poor experience, I wasn't going to leave a review until today happened. I called her office to request my medical records to follow-up on my medical history with a specialist. She refused, YELLED at me, and hung up the phone in my face. Keep in mind that it is a right by HIPAA's privacy act that an individual can request access to their medical records. I had to call my health insurance company and have them tell her to send me my records. She eventually did, but it was such an awful experience. I was never going to go back to her regardless, but holy heck. Truly an awful experience all around.

Dr. Musunuru listens to you patiently and is meticulous in her analysis of your health issues. She does not rush with things and you are not just a number when you consult her. We are glad we found her.

Dr. Munsunuru is a Caring and supportive physician. She doesn’t rush through our visits and is always prepared to discuss test results and treatment options.

Been my doctor for years now and couldn't see myself going to another unless I moved real far away

She is very thorough and listens to her patients. She personally follows up with patients and genuinely cares.
