I was very unhappy with the care I was given. Prenatal appointments were very rushed. At one visit I was left in a half dark office waiting for her to come back upstairs while all the other staff left for the day. Also, I developed pregnancy induced hypertension and after my delivery I was not continued on my medication. I became very ill in the hospital with vomitting and severe migraine. Not so pleasant, especially after a cesearean delivery. I reported how ill I felt and was ignored and never saw Dr. Star. It took a housekeeper to see me on the bathroom floor vomitting and in tears to finally get me some help. When they finally oredered labs my billirubin levels should have been under 70, but were over 240! I developed preeclampsia and was immediately rushed to another floor for treatment. This should not have gone on soo long without me receiving help. If I could give negative stars I would!

Not sure why all the bad reviews! Dr star delivered my last 2 children and was great. She is VERY BUSY and she is straight to the point, perhaps these comments are from people who need a hand holder.

Did not feel I was given the time of day, didn't feel like I could trust her since day one. I felt like I was a bother and not cared for. Best thing I did was found a new doctor ASAP!

On my very first visit with her she did not ask me anything except if I had any questions when she was finished with the exam. I never spent more than 2 minutes in the room with her and even though I was on time for my appointments, I waited for atleast 30 minutes before even entering the room every single time. I did not feel comfortable at all thinking that she could potentially deliver my future children. I have recently changed doctors and am MORE THAN PLEASED with my new doctor!
