Dr. Upinder Basi, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Basi for almost 3 years. She spends 95% of the visit at her computer typing and reading the whole time. If you ask a question, she sometimes answers you like you are an idiot. Issues go unsolved. I feel like her heart isn't into her work. She could be a great doctor. I remain a patient in hopes that she will come around. But I am close to changing doctors because she wont take steps to solve my medical problems. Her medical assistant is absolutely wonderful! Very kind and attentive.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve e seen this doctor only twice. Normally I refuse to see her since our first encounter. I went in with lack of motion and pain in my hand. Dr. Bassi dismissed everything I said to her and told me I was suddenly now tired from working in the computer and needed to take Ibuprofen. She is smug and rude if you so much as ask questions. I was diagnosed a month later with Lupus due to her lack of reading my labs. I called in a second time feeling terribly sick and she instantly says it COVID and tells me to get tested. She dismissed my nausea or new diagnosis of diabetes. Rude and always acts like I am wasting her time. I’m going to have to make another appointment to address my other concerns that we’re ignored .

Dr. Basi listens to me and respects my participation in my care.

She is very unprofessional she scribbles on the back of a piece of paper and instead of helping with pain issues she told me to learn to deal with it! In India pain meds are not prescribed.! Well this the United States and most drs want us to have quality of life as we age and should not experience pain 24/7. Would not go back to her if I needed a dr!

I have been a patient of Dr. Basi's for many years. I love her and her staff! They are very kind and compassionate whenever I deal with them. I would definitely recommend her as a great doctor!

I will not go to this doctor again. Did not even take enough time looking at my lab report to see there were two pages missing. Not to say I had the test in July and I called today 08/15/17 to check on the results.

I would not recommend this doctor for future patients.

Dr. Basi is the best doctor I have encountered in my 34 years. She really cares for her patients and is very good about checking in on her patients every year. She is easy to understand and takes the time to explain your medical treatments and conditions very thoroughly. She is a kind and ambitious woman and her medical staff is impeccable as well. I recommend her to all my friends and family.

Worst doctor I've ever seen. Didn't turn around from her computer to look at me once. Not to mention she didn't write any of the prescriptions or orders she said she was going to, and when I called to inquire about it she made me make another appointment to come in. And then double charged me! I called her every day for a week and she never returned a call. When I switched doctors because she was so terrible, she withheld all my medical records. Truly horrible. Doesn't deserve even one star.

I love Dr.Basi but her nurse NEVER returns important phone calls!! I take care of my mom who also loves Dr.Basi but the problem with getting a phone call returned is ridiculous! !
