He’s kind and compassionate and has always cared for my needs and issues. Appointments move quickly although he spends time with each patient. There is also a nurse practitioner but you can either see her or request the doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Farooq for several years! He has not only taken care of me at his office, but also at the hospital. His office is very clean and calm. His staff is so helpful and nice. I can easily get an appointment, and often if I am really ill, I can walk in without having a long wait.

A few words to describe Umar Farooq: unprofessional, untrustworthy, disrespectful, greedy. The medical advice he gives out is scary bad. He treats his staff poorly, calling them dumb and stupid in front of patients. He's money hungry. He won't do tests/procedures on patients who need it because their insurance doesn't "pay him enough" and then will do tests/procedures on patients who don't need/want it because their insurance does "pay him enough". If this is his mindset, he shouldn't be a Dr.

Dr. Farooq doesn't answer patient questions at all, or at least mine. He disregards most concerns I have, and out right refuses to answer why need to be seen every month. It took more than 2 weeks to get results, & jat that I had to call more than once to obtain them.

Really like Dr. Umar Farooq, but his medical staff leave ALOT to be desired. My husband went into the office, for a follow up after being in ARIA Torresdale Hospital Sunday night into Monday, and the medical assistants, which were students from places like Brightwood, were UNPROFESSIONAL!! They apparently don't know how to do blood draws, and the lack of experience really showed. They stuck my poor husband 3 times, using THREE different people, and STILL couldn't find a vein!!
